It was reported that the bedroom tv did not work. Was told we would hear from someone. We spent 2 hours on the phone w exfinity. The box did not work. Could not receive signal.Coffee pot is old and rusty dirty. No hand towel for kitchen. Only 2 soup bowls, only one small Pyrex to bake with. Overall not well appointed.No blankets.No trash can bags.The couch is filthy.

The unit was clean and as described in the listing. We especially enjoyed the view as the weather was not the best. The unit was well equipped although the pots and pans could use an update. They were clean and usable but food stuck to the frying pans. If you are light-sensitive when sleeping, bring a sleep mask. The bedroom is directly across the street from the well-lit Tybee City Hall. Otherwise, the location of this unit was perfect for us. Overall, the unit served our needs well and we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful view; relaxing stay.

Have already booked again for May. Convenient parking and walking distance to elevator and condo.Full view of beach and over looking pool. Spacious and comfortable condo. Restaurant and bar on property… highly recommend this unit.

Nice room, great ocean views

We were pleased with the room, loved the view of the ocean and pool and found the place to be clean and accommodating. Pool closes at 6 in the off season which seems a little early since there’s no lifeguard. Would be nice to see a few more staples in the room such as coffee filters, detergent, ample amount of dish soap etc. Would stay here again

Great location

We have stayed at Beachside Colony for many years and it never disappoints. This is the first time in this unit. It met all expectations. Clean, comfortable, convenient and quiet! Suggestions for improvement include adding a dresser or bureau so guests can store clothing that doesn't need hanging, as well as a suitcase rack. Could also use more amenity products like tissues and shampoo.

Great Location & friendly for mobility limited guests

Location, location, location! We LOVED it. This property has the pool and beach access that made for an amazing stay! The house itself was comfortable and I had booked it for elderly parents with mobility limits (low vision, limited walking ability & wheeled walker use), and the house was well set up for them to move easily. The elevator access was so invaluable for them to get from condo to pool/beach and back. We also took advantage of the FREE service from the city of Tybee with their Beach-ABLE program that provided a balloon-wheeled wheelchair for beach access. The staff who helped us get access to it were flexible with timing and so friendly. Last thoughts on the condo... they appreciated the use of washer and dryer, but, the kitchen is not really set up for much beyond basic use is what they found (but not "real" involved cooking) . In short, they had a great stay, and would stay again when we wanted to splurge on a beach stay!

Look elsewhere!

First of all, the property is nothing like the online photos. The pull-out couch bed was disgusting and dirty. The mattress has old springs and they are just about coming through. The bathroom has black mold on the ceiling above the shower. The refrigerator must have been cleaned and wiped down with a rag that had hair on it as there was hair throughout the refrigerator. We spent a lot of money for three nights and it did not meet the level of what was being charged.

Long weekend in fall on beautiful Tybee .

The property was exactly as shown in photos and as represented in listing. The view of the Atlantic was incredible —seeing the big ships and watching the sunrise from the covered deck was so beautiful. The swimming pools were pretty and everything was clean. The location is also perfect on Tybee. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed on hand . It is a pretty drive into Savannah as we drove in there a couple of times . Everyone was very easy to work with and we had a great time !

Beautiful!

I was definitely impressed with the cleanliness of our condo and the property as a whole! The condo is a great size, bigger than pictures look! Easy check in and check out. It’s great having food and drinks connected to the pool. The Deck restaurant is also one of the only beach view places to eat on Tybee so very convenient.

Easy check-in. Condo was ready early which was a nice surprise. Good location on the 3rd floor. Sliding door to balcony is a bear to open and close. Toiletries, kitchen towels, etc. provided were the bare minimum. My cleanliness standards are insane, so 4 stars for that. Also, turn on ice maker as soon as you get there. For delivery, try Pizza on Wheels!

Tybee Time

Our family of 4 stayed at this condo. This was our first time in Tybee, and it was the best vacation experience! Walking distance to the beach was great, restaurant on site at the complex, and two pools! Although this is only a one bedroom, one bathroom, the unit is very spacious! Had all the utensils and kitchenware we needed, as well. Would have preferred extra linens being provided for the pullout in the living room, but we got it figured out. Would most definitely book here again! :)
