The cottage was wonderful. Location is great! Easy beach access and access to all the great bars and restaurants Tybee has. The host also had great communication during our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Beach Haven

We loved this property and it was perfect for our family! It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great. The location can't be beat, the beach is half a block away and you can walk to restaurants and shops. The porch is great for relaxing with morning coffee or eating outside. We would definitely come back and stay again!

Tybee Family Vacation

To be honest, I was a little hesitant regarding the layout of the house… But, upon walking in on arrival, it was very very nice!!! Communication before, during and post visit w Mermaid Cottages reps were fantastic! We were within a pitching wedge to the 17th street beach access ramp! The IGA grocery store was 5 blocks away! Perfect location!!!!!! Thank you Mermaid Cottages for a great trip!! We will be back!

Great getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at Mermaid Cottage. Close to the beach and shops and restaurants. Safe and quiet. Very friendly host and she checked on us multiple times to make sure we are comfortable and if we need anything. Strongly recommend.

Great location

My overall impression of the house was that it was in a perfect location and it comfortably accommodated me and seven others. The staff was incredible and responded quickly to a situation and rectified the problem in a professional manner. I look forward to staying with them again!

Will Go Back!!

This place is so unique and cute! the location could not be any better for walking to beach, pier, restaurants. No need to drive and pay parking. one block from the shops. House was very roomy, lots of sitting areas , super great host, made everything easy. Called and checked on us on our second day. We will book this again.

We stayed 4 nights. 1 Role of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper 1 for each bathroom. 2 dish washing detergents House will only get to 72 degrees at coldest temp Nothing had lids, pots, etc. As long as you are prepared you can make due.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home! Everything about this home is perfect. Tons of space for a family. Location is superb! We had a wonderful time, family stayed in many houses all over the island. Our house was the best.

Loved the ranch house with no stairs. Convenient to beach and restaurants. Easy parking in the front and made good use of the hose and patio.
