Location and size of rental were 10 out of 10. Check-in and out was easy. There were a few things that made our stay only ok. 1st the internet didn’t work more than it did. Property management was quick to response to get it up, but kept going down and had to reset multiple times. The internet is tied to the tv so if the internet wasn’t working neither did the tv. Lights in the living/family room and the bedroom next master bedroom didn’t work. The garage doors worked but were extremely confusing to operate sometimes you have hold the button down to get to work. This works for large family that needs a 5-6 bedroom rental.

Girl's Retreat

What a beautiful property! We had 7 ladies 70 on our annual adventure. Couldn't have asked for more! The bedrooms were nicely appointed with bathroom and balcony! The living room and kitchen were spacious and were equipped with everything you could possibly need. The elevator was a real plus as some of us were physically challenged. The walk to the beach was easy and close. Several restaurants were close walking distance. All and all very enjoyable place to stay.

50th birthday surprise

Perfect location. Plenty of space. Fast response to any issue we had. Only thing was one of the bathroom’s tiles was cracked so it caused leaking downstairs so we couldn’t use that shower. But overall the stay was great!

Great for a large group/family

Upon arrival, the check in was very simple. We did have an issue while we were there with the washer and dryer properly working. We contacted the property manager who indicated it would be fixed. Great location, close to restaurants, the beach, shopping. Plenty of room in the main area for everyone to relax and eat. The elevator was a lifesaver!!

Tybee Nights

The property is dated and had multiple stains on couch, comforter, and mattress covers (discovered once sheets were removed.) The whirlpool tub did not work and that was a major selling feature for me due to medical issues. We did have a great vacation and the house was big enough for our family. However, I don’t believe I would stay again.

Loved everything about the property

Was very happy with the property the only things which should be known is the size of the garages, we had two full size vehicles, one SUV and one F150. They both barely fit in the garages. Another topic, is if you plan to fill the house to capacity, you should some silverware with you. There just wasn't enough for everyone.

Fantastic Vacation Home

We recently stayed at Tybee Nights for a cousins' reunion. There were 10 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! There was plenty of room to spread out and the location is great. You can see a bit of the water from the living room, and we saw some beautiful sunrises! The beach is within walking distance-either by a path through the dunes, or by walking over to 14th St. and using the crosswalk (recommended if you are using a beach cart or wagon). The pier, shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as well as the IGA grocery store. The elevator was very helpful and for such a large home, we were all impressed that we never ran out of hot water! The beds and living room furniture are very comfortable. The laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer is a huge plus. Kitchen is stocked pretty well with the basic dishes and utensils-could use a few more things, but you can easily prepare meals with what they have. There are 2 basket-style drip coffeemakers-one 12-cup and one 5-cup, so you can make a pot of regular and decaf if you prefer. One of the biggest and best surprises was the pantry with extra refrigerator! Other positives are the outdoor shower and garden hose for hosing off beach chairs, etc. There are extra beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys in the garage which is nice. Highly recommend this home and we can't wait to come back!

Good but used to be better

We had stayed at this house 3 years ago and loved it. We were sad to see that the place wasn't the same. The hardwood floors are in bad condition and need to be refinished. In several spots, the floors are even warped. The space is still good, and the location is great. The elevator was a huge help with luggage and for the two family members with limited mobility. However, it wasn't very pleasant the first night, when we had to go out in the rain to buy plastic spoons because there weren't enough spoons for 10 of us. To be honest, I hadn't looked at the recent reviews because we had stayed there before, but it seems the lack of spoons has been an issue and still hasn't been addressed. There were also NO serving spoons. We had brought in a lot of prepared food and were surprised at the lack of utensils for such a large house. Overall it is still a good house with a lot of space, but it is showing a lot of wear compared to just three years ago when we considered it an excellent rental.

Mini college reunion

Our group of 7 60 -year old friends from college came from all over the country to Savannah Beach on Tybee Island for a 4-night February stay. Other than 2 who shared the very large primary bedroom, we each had our own room (though 1 was an kiddie room with no windows off of another room and 1 was on the 1st floor level near the garage). There was plenty of space for more (if ok with doubling up in rooms—lots of trundles and bunk beds—we only used bottom bunks). It was very clean. We loved the big common area on the 3rd floor—with several seating options,p. Loved the deck off the 3rd floor living area with ocean views (there were other decks too—that is the only one we used). The kitchen was well stocked with pans, blenders, coffee makers, microwave, toaster, tableware, bar ware, etc. We cooked (fresh fish from Bubba Gumbo was a great find!), ate, played games and just relaxed and enjoyed hanging together. And the beach! Just down a short path from the house, we loved taking walks on the beach. Savannah was a 25-minute drive away, lots to see and do there. There was plenty of room for our 3 cars. The management company was very responsive with the very minor issues we reported on our first day. We were very comfortable and had a fabulous stay, would highly recommend for other groups—friends, couples or families.

This house has good bones but there were a host of issues that really deterred from the stay.They really need to hire a better cleaning crew. Portions of the house have never been dusted and it could use an overall deep clean. In addition there should be a checklist that is done after each stay to ensure everything is working. On day one the dishwasher was was leaking and when the maintenance person came it was deemed not repairable so he turned the water off and we had to wash everything by hand for 6 days, not ideal for a vacation. One bathroom had a handheld shower that was not attached, when my mother (97 years old), used it, it came apart and hit her on the head. It too was not repairable so they put some screws in it until they get a replacement. Several bathroom fans were not working and had toilets that were running constantly.The rollers in the cabinet that held the garbage were missing / broken along with the crisper in the refrigerator. The television did not work at all in any room. This too was not repairable because it was the an issue with the satellite dish. I don’t know if that was the reason the WiFi reception was awful but you could get on it for maybe a minute and then it was lost. A lot of minor issues and a few major ones really took away from it being an awesome trip.I was able to communicate with the management office but they were argumentative & not helpful. To add insult we agreed in a compensation amount which they are renigging on.

Plenty of space

There was plenty of space for the family. Short distance to the beach. Great places to eat and a short walk to them as well. I would definitely stay here again. It was a great house.

Needs better maintenance

We didn’t had power in one of the bedrooms and when contacted the property manager, she informed me that there was power outage in the area. This happened very first day and it never came back for our entire trip. Most of the bathrooms doesn’t have proper flushing and sometimes it never worked. The property definitely needs a lot of maintenance work.

Beautiful home, Great for a large group!

We had a group of friends all visiting together. We had a wonderful time and everyone was blown away at how beautiful this property was! The elevator was key bringing luggage and groceries for 10 people up to the third floor main kitchen/living room area. Garage parking was helpful for the rental car - there are two spaces and room outside for a 3rd car if needed. Steps from the beach, great views for the little balconies attached to each 2nd and 3rd floor bedroom. Pots and pans were a little old and there were fewer spoons than the other silverware, but we had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. IGA is right down the block and has an impressive amount of selection for a small island grocery! The rental group is a little slow to respond and didn't provide the wifi password up front, but got it to us eventually. Bring your own beach towels, plenty of regular bath towels in the house for home use already. We didn't use the pool at all so can't speak to that. Being quite a few blocks away was prohibitive but good to know it's an option if you had little ones who can't do the ocean waves.

The place looked great, but we had maintenance problems galore. Spa tub in main suite did not work. Shower door fell off while in use. Screen door fell off, handle broken. Two toilets ran constantly. Large comfortable house in a great location.

Our family of 8 adults truly enjoyed this house which is comfortable and in a great location. There is a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room and it’s an easy walk to the beach and to the small business district close to the pier. Chamacos tacos & surf at the end of the street is a bonus and one to experience for sure!

Great property- steps away from the beach

A group of friends chose this property for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and New Year! The location is unbeatable with a private access to the beach. The house was stocked with all necessary appliances and utensils. The house is walking distance to a plethora of restaurants and bars and the local grocery store is a short 3 minute drive. Overall great stay and look forward to another visit next year!

Management response while renting property

Property manager responded immediately to a personal request that was needed. The house has great amenities, very comfortable sleeping beds with nice bedding, excellent layout of living, dining, and kitchen spaces. The home decor was aesthetically pleasing, and the elevator is definitely a big plus. I highly recommend this property for vacationing and/or a holiday get away. I hope to book again next year.

Great time at Tybee

The house was perfect for our family of 13. Clean and as advertised, and a very short walk to the beach. We had one small problem with the garbage disposal and they came right away and fixed it. Thanks for a remarkable stay.

Family vacation

We loved the house - lots of space and comfortable for everyone. Decks were wonderful- we loved watching the military training with huge helicopters and paratroopers. Kitchen was great, beds we’re comfortable, lots of room to relax in the great room. Grocery shopping on the Island is just fair - better to drive a few extra miles into Savannah and shop at Publix or Kroger. Beach was great- just a few minutes walk from the house. We’ll be back!
