The view is beautiful and it's a spacious unit, but we were disappointed with a few aspects of our stay.We were not able to use the dishwasher - it made a horrible grinding sound whenever we turned it on. They sent a tech over, without telling us, so we missed them, but not really sure what could have been done anyway.Worse, the heat was broken and it appears they knew ahead of time. With temps in the 40s outside, we turned on the heat - but that actually activated the a/c. We had to wait around and have technicians in the unit for a couple of hours. The technicians said this was a known issue and they were supposed to have been brought in while the unit was empty, but it didn't happen. It felt inappropriate that we had to give up part of our day to deal with this. It also all made sense because when we first got there we received a text asking if a tech could come in to just "check on" the system and make sure it was all good. They did not state it was known to be not working.Also, we had two different upstairs neighbors during our stay and both sounded like they were stomping around. We live in an apartment, but what we heard in this unit was beyond what we consider normal. Finally, we found the messaging from this management company to feel like it reached the spamming level. They only reached out through text email before the stay (not through VRBO), sometimes with stay information, but usually regarding upsells.
