The older generation apartment style was nostalgic, but the flat was a bit smaller then I expected. It's best to pay attention to square footage and other details when renting because photos can be decieving. It was clean and had kitchen supplies for cooking which I did 2x while there. The internet is not tippy top, but I would not have found yhat out if it hadnt rain the last full day I was there. The private beach is a nice hideaway surprise and the 2 pools are a plus. I met friendly people who lived there and delighted in the view from the beach. The futon isnt the most comfortable but the bed was pleasent to sleep in. When renting a beachside flat, it is wise to remember you are not paying a premium price for the flat, but for the location. I will not rent there again because it did not suit my tastes, but others may enjoy iy.

This property was the worse I have ever stayed with Vrbo , the kitchen was pathetic , very poor equipped , refrigerator wasn’t much more than a large cooler, there were roaches , the whole living space was much smaller than expected !

Great location

Right on the beach with a nice pool. The furniture was pretty uncomfortable and the kitchen was not stocked well. 3 glasses, 3 bowls, etc..

What a Great Relaxing Escape

Enjoyed our stay tremendously - condo was great, clean and had everything that one would need for a few days away. I personally enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds ( quite cleverly transformed from a cupboard to bunk beds) - they were a little narrow but man did it bring back memories of my Navy days. Beach access was tops and the pool area and pool were brilliant. For anybody out there reading this, for the money spent its a worthwhile venture. PS: Remember to get a parking permit in Tybee island otherwise your We had a lovely stay at the house. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. I enjoyed sleeping on the top bunk bed – not the most comfortable but a cute novelty and it certainly brought back memories of my naval days. Beach access was great, and the pool and pool area were excellent. We enjoyed our stay and think it's a worthwhile venture for the price. I just have a heads-up for anyone staying in the area - if you're going to Tybee Island, make sure to get a parking permit, or else you may have to cough up 80. Overall, it was a nice experience. Thank you for letting my family and me share in this moment. e up for a 80 extra which was not catered for - nonetheless mad it all part of the experience - thank you for allowing myself and my family to share in this great gem.

Cute place but small

The property was slightly dated and small dings here and there but worked well for the three of us who stayed. Any more than three people probably would have been too crowded. It was a nice location right as you are coming into the Island and just a short drive to downtown. Great location for the beach with a nice pool. We enjoyed our stay!

Not as expected

First, let me just say that Southern Belle bacation rentals, the company that actually manages the rental was fantastic. The instructions were clear and thorough and responses to texts were quick and I felt like they really cared about our experience. You can book this property directly through them which I only learned afterwards, so got stuck paying 80 to vrbo for nothing really. This property faces a parking lot, but you can see the ocean if you look to the left. If you are a large person (we are not), you will not be able to fit between the wall and the bed, the bed is a foot or less from the wall on either side. The place smelled like an old school and is pretty run down. Bed was super uncomfortable and the mattress sank deeply in the center. The chairs and couch were also extremely uncomfortable, and the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. There was also something wrong with the color on the TV, even the gate key card was old and tattered. It was nice to be able to walk right down to the beach behind the property. Also FYI there is no dishwasher.

Explore Tybee and Savannah

Clean one bedroom in a gated community with pool and by the sea. The sand fleas came out in the eve by the beach so we stayed by the pool. We mostly ate out but there were kitchen accessories that we needed. Property managers were very communicative thru the whole process.

March getaway

Loved the location! Unit is on the beach, wish we could have enjoyed the beach more but the weather wasn't the warmest. With the condo being on the beach, it would be nice to provide beach towels, and beach chairs. If you are spending time in Savannah, it's at the right end of the island for an easy drive. Renting bikes on Tybee was very easy, Tim's will deliver and pick the bikes up if needed. Huc-A-Poos was such a fun place and within walking distance. Best sunset was at AJ's with great food! Condo needs some updating, fresh coat of paint would be nice, new flooring and rugs. Extra hangers for the closet would be helpful. Overall our stay at this unit was good.

Birthday trip

Usually come to tybee in the fall but decided to check out winter. It was still awesome with plenty to see and do ! Checked out fort Pulaski very interesting history . Will come back to this friendly lovely island !

We had a 4 night stay to attend a family reunion. The location is excellent and quiet. We were able to take bike rides and walks every day. The condo is quite dated but for the price it was perfect for us. The Southern Bell which is the rental agency was excellent to work with and had great communication, before, during and after. Thank you.

Weekend wedding

Labor Day getaway

My husband and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend. Tybee Island has always been one of our favorite places to visit and as always Tybee didn’t disappoint. During our stay here we met some very nice people, enjoyed the pool and beach. The unit is small but all you really need for 2-3 people. We will return.

Peaceful Retreat

Unit was clean, and easy access to the beach. The pool area was well maintained. The management was very quick to answer questions. Our only negative was the bedroom was very small and had no dresser or place for much “organization of our clothes” so we had to live out of our luggage. Otherwise it was very enjoyable!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time staying at this location! The condo was clean, listing was accurate and the check in email was helpful. The beach was close and we could walk right out to sit by the water and relax. The location was on the north end of the island where it was quite. The neighbors were quiet too. The bed really needs a new mattress and box springs.

Tybee Island vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. There are no words to describe how much fun I had with 3 of my granddaughters. We made so many memories! It is very close to the beach. I sat on the deck every morning drinking my coffee and watching the cargo ships and Captain Derik’s Dolphin boats. We took a sunset tour which was awesome. I’d recommend a tour with them any time of the day! My granddaughters made a remark how friendly everyone was. We found shells and even shared them with a couple people. We didn’t want to leave. Had such a great time!
