Vacation

The master bedroom door wouldnt close. We had to call maintenance to come fix it. The fan in the downstairs bedroom stopped working. The air conditioner only goes down to 70 degrees. The beds are super firm. There was still hair in the master shower when we got in. When we packed to go home, we found food under the master bed that did not belong to us. The 3rd floor balcony door would only open a little bit, not enough for someone to get out and didnt want to shut.

FIRST, THIS IS NOT EVEN THE HOUSE WE RENTED. But this is the only place I can leave a review, so here it is...About 12 hrs before our trip we were notified that this place was not available and we were offered the option of three other homes, much farther away from the event we were to attend. So, we accepted the closest of the three, "Just Beachy".Beautiful, peaceful, neighborhood. We were told the cleaning people would clean it 1st so we could check in a little early to change clothes for the event...we weren't called until 4:30.The pool had not been cleaned and was full of leaves and debris. There were still dog prints on the floors all through the home. We found an earing in one of the beds, and two false fingernails on the floor in the masterbedroom along with and eye mask and hair barrettes under the bed. The first bedroom had NO ELECTRICITY, the lights, ceiling fan nor eletrical oulets worked at all. The second day the plumbing backed up into both downstairs showers and had the whole downstairs smelling like sewage. There are rotten steps (showing through to the ground) on both the front and back steps. When I made a call to the "emergency" number at 9am my call wasn't returned until around 4:30 that afternoon. To say we are very disappointed with Tybee Island Vacation Rentals and the rental "Just Beachy", is a huge understatement.

HiSo off the bat we arrived the code was not working they gave us the code to the first floor and we had the second floor swelling. I travels with 9 Girlscouts and honestly the code was the start of a terrible experienceWe of course adapted and I called the rental host several times with limited avail First when we walked in the floor was sticky, there was sand every where as if no one sweptThe first floor bedroom bed was broken like hanging to the floor broken we called the maintenance number, he legit said. “They don’t pay us to fix things at night”. Here is an air mattress with in 10 minutes of inflation it deflates!! They guy never returns The stove vent didn’t work and anytime we cooked the alarms go offThere is no baking pans and very mismatched items . We had not can opener a flipper with out a handle ectThe outlets by the sink never worked so you could not do coffee or toast at the same timeThe paint job is so outdated it shows very worn!!! The stairs to the fourth floor wobbled and the beds up there where the girls slept were dirty! I’m very disappointed and upset with the whole thing! I felt everytime I called they just wrote us off and never fixed anything!!
