"I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. "Very clean, beautiful and quiet location with a large room"

"Overall pleasant accommodation although the arrival/ check in process was a little bit confusing, not helped by the poorly lit surroundings. Rooms are modern, warm and cosy, although pillows didn’t have cases and quite a bit of the previous guest’s hair on both the pillow and in the shower."

"Lovely hotel, attentive and friendly staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had the family suite which was amazing. Lacked coathangers but other than that it was fantastic. Breakfast was gorgeous and we ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to others."

"Nice breakfast, parking is a tight for the number of rooms but ok if you arrive for a early check in.Speaking of the check in it states a time 12 noon but this is not correct,we arrived at 1pm only to be told that is to early but our room was ready so no problem for us and able to park ok."

"El hotel esta bien para una o 2 noches, cerca de la carretera y de fácil aparcamiento. Además hay muchas opciones de comida en el mismo predio. Lo recomiendo, el personal muy amable y atento. Faltaría un poco de almacenaje o estanterías para colocar la ropa, pero como dije antes es un hotel para 1 o 2 noches."
