Seasonal Note: Autumn and winter are some of the most beautiful times to experience Twizel and the wider Mackenzie Basin, with crisp alpine mornings, snowy mountain backdrops and some of the clearest night skies in the country. Temperatures can regularly drop below zero during the colder months, so we recommend bringing warm clothing and layers for outdoor adventures. After a day exploring the lakes, canals, ski fields or nearby mountain regions, Glenbrook Retreat provides a warm and welcoming place to return to, with both the fireplace and heat pump keeping the home cosy throughout your stay.
