"I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that.
My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant.
I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?"

"Excellent place to stay.Good location for exploring the area. Local walks Hadrians wall etc.We stayed in the Hadrian suite.Very spacious with nice roll top bath.We ate in the bar on burger night. Again Excellent.Staff were friendly especially the breakfast lady.Full of smiles in the morning. Would definitely stay again "

"We had the most wonderful stay at East View – it truly felt homely, comfortable, and cosy from the moment we arrived. The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace.
Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. Her warm hospitality really...

"I booked a superior room which was very comfortable and clean. We overlooked the river and had a double aspect room (317).
Staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to see that we were happy."

"This was an immaculately clean and comfortable stay. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant had a good choice and the chef clearly takes pride in his food- great quality and lots of choice. The breakfast included traditional ootions but also good quality food. We loved the location and would highly recommend the Queens for an overnight or longer stay. We also brought out dog and we were all made to feel very welcome. "
