This was our second stay at SkyHouse and it was even better the second time. The property is immediately next to a part of the Joshua Tree National Park, so there's only beautiful nature to see when looking out beyond the pool. All nature, everywhere! It's quiet and dark so the stars are everywhere. Enjoy the peacefulness.

WOW! What a beautiful property and an even more amazing experience. Enjoyed every bit of the pool and hot tub, and the small hike trail behind the pool. The kitchen was fully stocked and enabled us to make delicious meals. The surround sound speakers created a lively ambience for both in and outdoors. The host was very responsive and helpful. Will come back again!

WOW!

Love love love SkyHouse. The view toward the pool is spectacular. Just the stark desert with Joshua Trees and rocks. The blue blue sky is a perfect contrast with the terrain. Dale and company are truly interactive and helpful. The three beds are very comfortable; the sitting areas are peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked, including actual glass lock storage containers for leftovers (a rarity even in high end homes). The pool and spa are perfect for an afternoon of lounging. Will stay again, for sure!!!

Perfect. Can’t say enough good things about the property. Close to Joshua Tree State Park entrance but secluded at the same time. Hot tub and pool were very nice. Amazing fire pit. Comfortable beds!

Everything you want and more.

I couldn’t imagine a better luxury property to stay near Joshua Tree for a small group. It checks all of the boxes, being private with a perfect backdrop but just minutes from town. All of the luxury features are well-integrated into the home. Very well appointed kitchen. The house instructions were comprehensive, and definitely opt in to the pool heating: It was amazing! Any questions were answered promptly by the host team, but the answers are likely in the manual somewhere anyway. Do yourself a favor and stop your search: book this property! Can’t wait to go back.

Perfect Start to 2024!

Our Family of 5 arrived at this beautiful home on New Year's Eve. What a wonderful way to start 2024. The house is gorgeous. It is so well designed and we wanted for nothing. The views from inside and outside the home are stunning. The pool and hot tub are perfect. We loved Joshua Tree. The hikes were perfect and the town was so charming. My only regret is we did not go to the RoadRunner Grab and Go enough :) The breakfast and lunch options were perfection. I definitely recommend this lovely home, the location and Joshua Tree overall. Our kiddos ranging from 13 to 7 LOVED it.

Do yourself a favor and rent this place.

Ideal place to unplug and relax. Location was gorgeous, house was immaculate. Joshua Tree National Park literally in the back yard. Town of Joshua Tree couple minute drive away. Anza-Borrego and Salton Sea also within driving distance for day trips. Although weather didn’t fully cooperate we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pool, spa, fire pit….spent very night we could outside. Even on cloudy days the views from the house were spectacular. Although was just my wife and I, property also ideal for 2-3 couples. Management was fantastic. Will definitely return.

GO SEE THIS PLACE

GO SEE THIS PLACE....Great getaway for 2 couples. Property is unbelievable, get out and hike around the area...so much to see. Town is very close to grab groceries, dinner out. Access to Joshua Tree NP is also very close. House has everything you'd ever need. It is a visually stunning house with great amenities. Communication with property management was easy and someone was always available to answer questions and make recommendations. We didn't want to leave, we will definitely be back.

Amazing way to close out the year. The Skyhouse is a special place, with striking views, a well-equipped open kitchen and serene decor. The property manager was always helpful and there are clear instructions on how to use everything in the house. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and enthusiastically recommend the Skyhouse.

Very special place

Two couples spent 4 nights here, but longer would have been better. The location is fab - close to the 3 towns and park access, also great hiking straight off the property. The house is very pretty and comfortable, but the outside space really scores. Amazing sunsets and stargazing. Expensive - and no true en-suite bedrooms, but not a problem as the layout is clever. Missing those Joshua trees already.

Great house in open desert

This house is great for a peaceful retreat away from the city noise. It’s clean, impeccable and very comfortable. It’s very close to the Joshua tree national park and has great trails going off the property for a sunset stroll. The checking and checkout process was very easy and host was very communicative and attentive. We highly recommend this house and will come back! Thank you Dale for hosting us!
