Good location to visit Joshua Tree

Very good. It is only 3 miles from the park. The place is cleaned. The property may look not that good from outside but inside is very nice, stylish and with DWR feel. It is located in 29 Palms. We went to the grocery store in 29 palms to get our food including sandwiches for the hikes. We also went to the restaurants in 29 Palms. It is a very good location.

Great Location

My sister and I stayed for a couple of days while visiting Joshua Tree National Park. The house is very close to the main park entrance. The house was very well maintained and supplied with everything we needed for our trip.

About as close to Joshua Tree NP as you can get

Quiet, clean, and comfortable. There were some nice touches like the record player with a decent variety of vinyl to play. It was a great stay.

Great little bungalow, just as advertised

We had a very nice and comfortable stay, easy entry into the quieter of the two northern Joshua Tree entrances. We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the outdoor amenities, and the small touches (U2 Joshua Tree album and a turntable).

Perfect place to stay

The house is very clean and the location can't be beat. Very close to entrance to Joshua Tree NP. We had an issue with the oven when we arrived and the host took care of it very quickly. Great communication. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect little place, close to JTNP

The cottage was perfect for our family of 5. Lots of nice touches to make the place stand out. We loved the Hammocks, the outdoor fireplace, and the coffee making options. So close to the park and to 29palms amenities!

Great property!

Great place to stay near Joshua Tree park! The property was spotless and pictures were accurate. Nicely updated property. Comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen! A few minor things that were solved quickly with a message to the owners. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Joshua Tree location!

We primarily rented the property for its close proximity to Joshua Tree National Park - the house far exceeded our expectations! The house had everything we needed to prepare a few meals and the outdoor patio area was lovely. Loved lounging outside under the stars! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Great except for noisy nights...

Overall, this property had all the makings of excellent. The owners were available and responsive by text and the house was well set up with everything we needed. It would have been a perfect stay if it hadn't been for the noise of the outdoor attached awnings at night. Whenever the wind blew, which unfortunately was often, the awnings made so much noise it was difficult to get any sleep in either of the bedrooms. We did let the owners know, and hope they have taken down the awnings for future renters. If so, I highly recommend this property.

Excellent house for Joshua Tree trip.

Absolutely perfect place to stay for a trip to Joshua Tree. We went here for my wife’s birthday and it had everything we needed. I loved that their fully stocked kitchen even allowed me to make her a birthday cake! Also the location is amazing, only a couple miles from the Twenty-Nine Palms entrance to Joshua Tree (which I think is the best entrance). I definitely would recommend to anyone who is looking for a place near the park. Also excellent communication from the hosts.

Perfect Cottage for a family vacation to Joshua Tree!

This house was the perfect size for our family of three (although it could of slept 2 additional children). It was well decorated and fully stocked with all the comforts of home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a family dinner. The bathroom had soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels ect. They also had a very useful welcome book illustrated by a local artist with information on hikes and restaurants in the area. Coming from an artistic background ourselves we really appreciated this detail. Its also is a short drive to the Joshua Tree National Park North entrance. Mark and Lyanne were prompt and friendly with their communications. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would love to go back!

Another Great Stay

This is our second time staying at the M&L Cottage and it was as great as the first. We love this place, super nice, super quiet and just down the hill from the magnificent Joshua Tree National Park. Mark and Lyanne go out of their way to make sure everything is set before you get there and their customer service is perfect. Looking forward to returning soon.

We loved our stay in your JT home. We are a family of five and it was enough for us. We took our mornings slow, enjoyed our cup of coffee and breakfast. The location was so convenient to the north entrance of park... which we explored every day of our 5 day stay... my only suggestion is some facecloths and dishcloths. I would highly recommend it to anyone heading there.

Great location!

This is a small but comfortable cottage that is very close to a major entrance to Joshua Tree NP. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed and living room very comfortable. We encountered one unexpected issue and the owner was very responsive, dealing with it quickly and appropriately.

Spent 2 nights during our tour of JTNP. Clean and well-kept. Not fancy, but very nice. We needed to check-out in the afternoon and the owners accomodated. Good stay. Fair price.
