It was a clean place located in a convenient location. Only a 6 min drive to the Coolangatta beach.

Family of four, our flight was delayed past office hours, owners were very accomodating made arrangements. Friendly and inviting atmosphere, little secret fruit and veg garden with a BBQ area. The amenities in the room were perfect, Kid’s favourite- wifi and the pool. The beds/bedding soft and comfortable. Thank you City Lights Motel - if available would stay again!

We travelled from Brisbane to meet with family at what we thought was a family friendly motel based on good reviews. But we’re very disappointed. Cigarette butts soaking in cups of water on the only table in the swimming pool area, a plastic bag of the same on a window sill and a woman’s bikini on the seat. Pool next to busy road and area completely covered with soggy carpet. BBQ area opposite end of property so couldn’t leave kids in pool while using BBQ. While it says ‘designated smoking areas’ that seemed to mean anywhere outside your room. Not family friendly at all. We asked for a refund which was refused.

Lovely motel, very peaceful with a beautiful reception area full of crystals. The room was large and very clean. The whole area was tranquil with plentiful plants and a Buddist influence. The management were friendly and helpful. Only problem was the t v which kept switching itself off after half an hour. Would definitely stay again.

It is conveniently located at a beautiful spot at TH. It conveniently reduced price so I got what I paid for. The owner had a dog that was abit scary, I think dog owners really should be more responsible and careful if their dogs approach other people. Im an animal lover and very tolerant of animals and that's why I think that dog owners must be more responsible and never allow their dogs to approach any person. Dogs are dogs and can easily do damage and once that's happened it's too late to take it back. The owners dog even made me scream and the owner did nothing at all, they didn't even call their dog back and they didnt even inquire if I was ok.

Very friendly staff, the room though dated was well equipped for our needs. It included baking paper, spraying oil, salt and pepper and extra plastic bags and other needs too numerable to mention.

It was affordable and close to where I was needing to go. Some furnishings were a bit worn but the room was comfortable, warm and clean.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well equipped. Loved being able to park under shelter. We loved the beautiful garden area and who would ever know that chooks also lived there. The owners were delightful people and proud gardeners.

A quirky place! The owners have a menagerie - dogs, a parrot, chickens and a pet lizard. The lady at reception gave me good intel about the local taverns and restaurants. The room was clean and had air-con and a comfy bed.
