We had a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. We would definitely stay here again!

The home was great and able to accommodate our big group. We had everything we needed to cook and the space was great for family games, dinner etc. check in was easy and the home is beautiful. My only suggestion will be having a bathroom in the barn where you could sleep about 19 people, during our stay it was raining all day and night which make it uncomfortable to cross the parking towards the home to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

14 family members spent the weekend at the home for a Birthday. Everyone was very pleased with the accommodations. The house was super clean and loaded with extras to make our stay especially enjoyable. Ample towels, kitchen supplies and condiments. The BlackStone grill was perfect for our meals including breakfast. Another stay is in the works. Yana our hostess was available for all the questions we’d asked. Lovely mini vacation. .

Yana was extremely helpful and patiently answered our many questions. She responded to all our requests like the fans she provided when those in the bedrooms did not function. We made full use of the facilities from the swimming pool and hot tub to the wonderful new bbq gridle. We loved being able to eat as a group of 17 all at one table. We would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

It was not the owner’s fault that the week we went was obscenely hot. However, they do not turn the AC on in preparation and so we ended up not being able to use the Game Barn as expected and we had a lot of boys on the floor of the main house. The upstairs of the main house was like an oven. The air conditioners just never caught up and the indoor therm read 87 throughout the day and well into the night. Internet is terrible. Had to drive to a cafe for internet use.The owner is super responsive and kind but this place is not as well—stocked as advertised and could use large pots and pans. Mostly, though, the fact that we were unable to use the Game Barn was a big damper on the trip.Also, I think it’s a bit expensive for what they offer.

We really enjoyed staying at this place and havjng fun through the full spectrum of activities including pool, hot tub, board games, barbeque and specially the pool and pingpong tables.

Very misleading

The description of the property is inaccurate. It states it sleeps 40ppl with 9 bedrooms, but there are only 7 bedrooms and any guests beyond 15ppl are charged. You have to notify the landlord and there is an additional 45 per person/per night. The "game barn" had 13 beds, not 17 and we werent allowed to use them unless we notified and paid more. The fooseball table and ping pong table were broken. Video arcade didnt work. Pool sticks missing tips. The hot tub was disgusting, smelled and had green foam. The pool wasnt clean and usable at all. It has 3 fireplaces and only one was usable by approval only. I stay at alot of mountain VRBO spots, im aware they are not all tip top shape, but for the absurd price per night this place is duct tape together.

Beautiful and Spacious Home

This was a fantastic location and set up for our mini family reunion. We had a group of 19 (4 couples plus kids/teens) and it was very spacious. The living and dining areas were especially very well sized for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with all cookware etc. that we could possibly need and it was a great layout to have multiple people cooking and prepping. The property grounds were beautiful and very quiet. The Game Barn was a huge hit with the entire family and got a lot of use. The host was very quick to reply on a couple questions I had before booking and then right after check-in, but there were no issues with the property. We all felt very much at home at this house and we will cherish the memories made there. Thank you hosts!

Great Family Gathering

My family of 20+/- had a wonderful time here. The space was great and accommodated us all. We didn't get to use the game room in the other house, but it was super spacious and could fit another host of folks (10+ ppl). There were plenty of restrooms/bathrooms, and sleeping rooms. The living area was great to chill and just relax. Lots of sitting areas. The kids and young adults enjoyed the big pool and the hot tub. The surrounding area was great for morning and evening walks. The location was good - close to Pinecrest, other lakes, and Yosemite. Our host was close by and was a great help when needed. We had an amazing time here. Thanks again Yana & Fam.

Twain Harte Villa

This place exceeded our expectations! It’s the perfect getaway to bring a massive group out for some fun. Plenty of space to spread out and plenty to do! The host was a amazing and I could not be more satisfied with her communication and accomodation. Would absolutely stay again in the future!

Great for family trips

My large extended family stayed over during a June weekend. The home is spacious with the most well stocked kitchen my family has ever rented. There were plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, pots, pans, mixing bowls, aluminum trays, etc. Yana was extremely responsive and always willing to help make the stay more comfortable. We went back and forth coordinating the details of trip and cost breakdown quite a bit. VRBO doesn't have the most detailed pricing breakdown structure. She thought through a lot of the little details such as high chairs for the babies and dog beds for the pups. We brought our two dogs. One is deaf and the other nursing an injury. We could not board them and are incredibly thankful that the home is pet friendly. The kids had a blast fishing in the nearby reservoir (30 mins away), swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, and playing in the barn. They were well entertained. Most of the kids were too spooked to stay in the loft of the barn; blame the movie "The Orphanage". The loft doesn't have AC and may not be the most comfortable in the summer. Maybe in the winter it is be better. Important note that I missed when planning: the barn has two extra bedrooms in the bottom floor which does have AC. However, there isn't a bathroom in the barn. Since we had young families and a few pregnant couples, staying in the main house was preferred. Overall we had an amazing time and would do it again. The weekend went by too fast.

Great place for large family

This place was a prefect size for our family of 30. Home is very clean and very spacious for large group. The pool was clean with fresh towel and life jackets available for those who may need it. The game room was prefect for our teenagers to hangout and there were also beds available for them to sleep. Our host was very welcoming and provided us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely book again.

A Good Time Was Had By All

We celebrated my husband’s 45th birthday by inviting friends and family (with all their kiddos) to this great house for the weekend. It was great! We loved the pool and hot tub. The game barn was a hit! The configuration of the bedrooms worked well for our group. I especially appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was! We cooked all our meals in, and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t in the cupboards.

UC Berkeley club review

The house was very clean when our group arrived and the property owners were very attentive with answering questions and staying in contact during our stay. When our group left some items behind after our stay, the owner quickly found the items and shipped them back to us within 5 days. Would highly recommend this property!
