"Four of us were in Costa Rica and moved around 8 nights. This was our favorite stay. The grounds are super cool, albeit in need of a power washing when wet season is over. The unit worked out perfectly for us. The town is a classic small CR town and we shopped for food and grilled out. "Room smelled like body odor. Cockroaches in bathroom and shower. Right next to kitchen and woken up by people talking loudly in kitchen at 7 am. Staff were nice but you get what you pay for"

"Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. It’s a commitment to get up and down the road and 4wd is essential. As such I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights w/o going down. Hosts offers horseback rides and guided hikes around the property.
