Urlaub mit Freunden

Es war wunderschön in Franca‘s Haus, alles ist vorhanden und sehr sauber. Franca ist sehr zuvorkommend, wir konnten etwas früher anreisen und der Hitze geschuldet sind wir am Abreisetag früh morgens los, Franca kam den Abend vorher einfach vorbei. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viel zu sehen und so waren wir jeden Tag unterwegs

Gutes, altes Haus

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut und die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Es ist echtes Piemont. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir wieder kommen werden. Diese Woche bleibt unvergesslich.

Very complete house in beautiful surroundings

The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities needed. The hosts Franca and Sergio are very helpful and have some good tips for trips. We played a lot of jeu de boulesin the front garden

Un séjour ressourçant dans un village super sympa !

Nous avons passé une semaine entre ami.es chez Franca. La maison a tout ce qu'il faut comme équipements pour passer un séjour agréable. Nous avions un petit chiot avec nous qui vivait ses premières vacances. Le jardin spacieux et sécurisé était donc parfait. Le patio ombragé fait un bien fou quand il fait trop chaud. Franca est chaleureuse et toujours de bon conseil. Elle nous a conseillé de nous rendre à une fête qui se tenait à Casalborgone. Nous avons passé une soirée très agréable à danser avec les habitant.es du village. Tout ça nous a donné envie de revenir bientôt !

Séjour reposant, au calme , dans la verdure. Visites de Asti, de vieux villages, d églises, d abbayes, promenade au bord du Pò. Partout, parfums de jasmin et de tilleuls.

Schönes Haus mit Garten

Schöner Haus mit schönem Garten, nur ein wenig weit vom Ort entfernt, man braucht das Auto. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ansonsten hatten wir einen tollen Urlaub, mit Stadttouren nach Bergamo, Mailand, Turin, Asti und Alba.

Wunderbar

Wir waren das 2. Mal hier und es war wieder super. Die Vermieterin Franca ist sehr hilfsbereit, gibt super Tipps für Ausflüge und ist sofort da, wenn man etwas braucht. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen.

Big house and very quiet

We stayed here for two weeks with our children and loved it all. Nice big house, quiet environment, with lovely figue-trees. Casalborgone is nearby. Has a little supermarket with everything you need. There is a bakery as well, a pizzeria and some bars. But above all we loved the owners. Franca and Sergio, thanks for you lovely welcome.

Erholsame Ferien

Wir durften im sehr gemütlichen Ferienhaus von Franca unsere Ferienzeit verbringen. Es liegt abgelegen und wir hatten unsere Ruhe. Wir konnten mit unseren Hunden aus dem Haus und standen direkt in der Natur. Es gab diverse Wege zum erkunden und uns wurde nie langweilig. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war immer sehr net und unkompliziert, bei fragen ist sie sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit und wir würden die nächsten Ferien gerne wieder dort verbringen.

Great experience at Casalborgone!

We had a great stay! We loved: - Franca and Sergio very available and very welcoming - The location very peaceful among the hills of Piemont, and also very authentic - The house perfect for a few people (family): clean, large, well-equipped, beautiful - The small garden with games, ideal for our three daughters We definitely recommend!

Very nice and pleasant stay, with a super friendly hostess

We arrived too late but that was no problem. Franca is very kind and understanding. We were also offered local produced vegetables, grown by their own. She's available to help if necessary. Casalborgone is a lovely small town. It's a good environment to relax, to enjoy the tranquillity. From there, you can easily visit other small towns but also Torino and Asti (both a little further). The only comment that can perhaps be made is with regard to the mosquitoes, which were sometimes annoying: although there are perfect fly screens everywhere, it was sometimes difficult to keep them out (e.g. if you are with children and doors open and close regularly). To conclude : a very pleasant and relaxing stay!

Un bel casolare tra le colline

La casa è molto spaziosa ed avendo i muri spessi resta anche fresca (solo in alcuni giorni veramente torridi, abbiamo "sofferto" un pó il caldo, ma la notte siamo sempre riusciti a dormire bene). Lo spazio esterno è perfetto per i bambini (anche i più piccolini), il giardino di medie dimensioni è completamente cintato da un alto muro e sono presenti uno scivolo, una casetta ed un triciclo. Inoltre, per le giornate piovose c'è un ampio spazio coperto e chiuso su tre lati (aperto sul lato che si affaccia al giardino) ottimo anche per giocare nelle giornate troppo calde, dato l'effetto "cantina" che lo rende molto fresco essendo sempre ombreggiato. In casa sono presenti tutte le comodità (tra cui lavatrice e lavastoviglie). La signora Franca ed il marito sono molto gentili e disponibili (mi hanno anche portato, praticamente subito, una caraffa che mi serviva).

Sehr schönes Haus

Das Haus ist sehr schön, Ausstattung wie im Beschrieb. Die Lage sowie der Garten einfach traumhaft. Franca ist eine sehr unkomplizierte, liebe Frau. Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern sehr genossen. Danke Franca!

Working Holiday

A nice country house with great garden and lovely neighbors, including owls and cats. Great for walks and visiting small towns, some of them with stunning, old world architecture. The road from Casalborgone to the house is a bit narrow, but hardly any traffic. We loved the stay. Franca and husband Sergio are a wonderful couple with that Italian welcome. Great people and a great place.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis!

Mooi oud familiehuis in de heuvels bij Casalborgone. Franca en Sergio zijn heel vriendelijke mensen die er alles aan doen om je een goed verblijf te bieden. Het huis is zeer ruim en aangenaam en alles wat je nodig hebt is aamwezig. Groot pluspunt is dat er overal in huis horren voor de ramen zitten, waardoor je de (vele) muggen prima buiten het huis kunt houden. Wij hebben van ons verblijf genoten!

Can't keep this little Piemontese gem a secret. Gotta tell you about it!

We arrived at Casa San Guiseppe CASALBORGONE much later, hours later than arranged, two extremely tired and stressed Australians to be greeted by our patient and understanding hosts, Franca and Sergio. That was the start of two wonderful weeks in this charming village in Piemonte and the warmest hospitality ever. Franca and Sergio are extremely proud of their village and region in general and are splendid ambassadors for Piemonte. The house itself is steeped in family history, is remarkably well equipped for anyone who likes to shop locally, buy seasonal produce and prepare their own meals. The house was huge, capable of accommodating 6 people. Bedrooms are spacious, two separate bathrooms give flexibility and we appreciated free wifi and a tv that offered some programs in English. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for preparing our own meals. Arriving at the end of September, we were treated to Piemonte enjoying an extended summer and found the back garden and paved area outside the kitchen were just the ticket to enjoy a leisurely lunch of roasted local pepperoni and melanzane ( all roasted in our oven) cheeses recommend by Franca and Sergio and purchased at the Monday market in CASALBORGONE. The friendly staff at the local PRONTO supermarket and Luisa and Alberto at AL RAVANIN specialty fruttivendolo soon got to know the Aussies who ventured out every day. My husband has Sicilian heritage, but speaks no Italian. I took Italian language classes ages ago and speak 'un poco'. Franca, like myself believes the best way to learn a language and a culture is to be daring and try, whether that is Italain or English. Perhaps other travellers might not like to stay the length of time that we did, but we live in a small Australain village and so tend to gravitate towards the 'village' atmosphere of somewhere such as CASALBORGONE. We found it an ideal base to make trips to Asti, Alba, Chivasso, Turin and Barbaresco. Franca and Sergio treated us to a guided walk around CASALBORGONE followed by a festival dinner featuring local products. How lucky we were to be there for that celebration!! The following Sunday they arranged to pick us up and take us for a 'Sunday drive' to point out significant landmarks. Again we were treated to Franca and Sergi's genuine Piemontese hospitality and generosity. We will be spreading the word about this little gem of a place and the extra-ordinary and genuine hospitality of hosts Franca and Sergio.

mooie plek in de bergen en dicht bij de natuur

De authentieke boerderij midden in de bergen van Piëmonte is een mooi huis voor échte natuurliefhebbers! De zeer vriendelijke eigenaren Sergio en Franca ontvangen je hartelijk en staan klaar voor alle vragen. Wij troffen het huis zeer schoon aan, met twee complete badkamers en een uitgebreide huisraad. Jammer van de talloze muggen die ons vooral in de avond naar binnen hebben gejaagd.

Wonderful spot, roomy house and great reception.

We had a lovely time at the holiday home of Franca. The spot is wonderful with great views from the house including on the snow capped Alps in the distance. The house was roomy, clean, well furnished and fully equipped. We received a very warm welcome on arrival with a detailed tour of the house and some home grown vegetables and local wine. As an example of the level of hospitality, when Franca noticed we were not familiar with the Italian way of making coffee she delivered a coffee maker the very next day to facilitate us. We can recommend staying at this home, also with children.
