The cabin is so cozy. Loved the fireplace and convenience to Tupper, Saranac, and lake Placid. Great place to stay if you have a student at the Ranger School in Wanakana (Cranberry Lake) as well. This truly is a sanctuary in the woods, it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Like others have said, the pictures don't do it justice. We can't wait to return :-)
