It is located in a slightly hilly wooded area. There is a gas station "C" store that offers food and beer. An Rv park is on this loaction and is very nice.. The Casino is modern and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. A new waterpark was being constructed during our visit.Sonora is close for shopping.Yosemite is a close scenic drive.A bowling alley and Dining at two locations are your options.This was our second time at Black Oak in six months.

Recently stayed the night on Monday April first... First disappointing part of this was driving up to the hotel and see the building covered , pool /spa was empty for me huge disappointment and then there wasnt any parking construction site completely taken over the!!!! So we check in hotel was very clean staff was every friendly, so I begin to ask about amenities it states to have but guess what?! They are closed MONDAYS, TUESDAY AND SOME WEDNESDAY! WE TRAVELED WITH OUR KIDS ALONG FOR THESE REASONS... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Long story short Casino was fabulous so many options I enjoyed that part to the fullest.... Was pretty cloudy in there but might've just gotten used to non smoking casino since covid... And last the loud banging early in the morning(with kids) not cool!!!!! Happy birthday to me😐

They are remodeling the casino so my husband and I were hoping to wake up late that morning and were put on the 4th floor so all the banging on the roof woke us up by 7 in the morning. We were very disappointed

Major construction going on Parking near the hotel was very limited. Available parking was in the parking structure, that is on the other side of the casino, quite a walk!!

food and hotel and service all were excellent BUT the slots were so tight we could not win anything, just put money in and and nothing back, we spent over 1k. NO FUN and we probably won't come back there, and we did not see anybody winning either. bad

It was a really nice stay the bed was so comfortable I woke up feeling like I actually slept! Room was big and open. I really enjoyed myself :)

Really nice place to stay. Coffee machine wasn't working, and there wasn't really a good location for breakfast, as restaurants were being renovated.

Black Oak Casino and Resort
Very nice Hotel with a beautiful outdoor pool and hottub. There is a nice restaurant in the Casino that is separate from the Hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay!
GPS took us on some crazy backroads to get here from Yosemite, but we were definitely pleased when we arrived. Beautiful hotel, clean, friendly, and comfortable.

On our 10 day trip this was the best hotel we stayed at. Very clean and nice room. The whole hotel was just nice. My daughter enjoyed the pool as well. We stayed here to visit Yosemite and it worked out great.

Was the staff unable to assist you when you called to let them know about the issue? Usually if there is something wrong with the air, it is a simple fix and if not then we would do our best to move you to another room in order to ensure your comfort. Love thr Hotel. But the casino wasnt as grade as a long time ago. The slot machines were not taking my players card. Had to get 4 different cards Was a waste of time. Machines didnt hit much.

Arrived early and they allowed us to check in early which was extremely helpful. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Beautiful hotel!
