We had a wonderful week here. Mac was very responsive and helpful. The pool was great. The place was beautifully furnished. Had lots of great meals both in town and just down the street. We even got to see turtles nesting on the beach just off the pool deck.

Exceeded expectations. Amazing view and beautiful sound of the waves. Private, peaceful and relaxing. Tasteful decor!Edwin and Erma are so welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend for a couple’s getaway.

My wife and I had an incredible time here. The house has all of the amenities needed to enjoy and relax including an excellent library, and top of the line binoculars to enjoy the horizon. My wife kept calling this a 5 star retreat. The host is an excellent communicator and provided recommendations for activities and services, along with a concierge as needed. The property itself provided the tranquil atmosphere we were looking for and we truly enjoyed our time here. Mac, thank you for having us, we can't wait to be back! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

beautiful home for couple's retreat. Direct view of the ocean thru huge glass doors. I swam laps in the pool every morning. Wonderful tips from the owner on where to eat nearby. Burrito recommendation in Tulum was the best burritos we have ever had. Did a cenote scuba dive just up the street. A rental car here is very helpful.

This place was amazing!! We had the best honeymoon! We had everything we needed. It was so spacious, the pool was perfect, we were able to walk to different restaurants in the neighborhood, and it was very quiet. Edwin and Irma were so wonderful and great chefs!!! Hosts even put us in contact with a masseuse that came by and she was great!!! They also just had the best tips for our stay. We enjoyed our early morning runs along the road. It was the most relaxing time!

Host gave many excellent helpful suggestions and was great with communication. Edwin and Erma were nice and we did enjoy them cooking for us the last night. House was perfect for what we needed. Love the location except for that horrible road. We definitely plan to go back there!

Awesome - Romantic and Quiet

Very relaxing in a beautiful location. Secluded yet near to local restaurants and Tulum. Edwin and Irma were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything you Want

We had a wonderful week just enjoying the house, pool and surrounding beach areas. We took advantage of the meals and they were top notch. This location is absolutely devine and the communication was spectacular.

Perfect for Rest and relaxation

Our stay way wonderful as everything was just as advertised. Stayed two weeks and never left the property except for long walks on the beach and one trip to Tulum for supplies.

Amazing Stay

We have stayed in many VRBOs through the years and honestly, this rental was probably the best we have ever been to. Mac was amazing to work with and gave us detailed recommendations for dining and things to do. Edwin and Erma were amazing in helping us with whatever we needed. The place is stocked with everything that needed. We plan to go back and will definitely be staying at this amazing rental. Thank you for a wonderful time in Tulum!

Almost off the grid and beautiful

We had an amazing trip! A lot of it thankful to the caretakers of the property Edwin and Alma. Highly recommend staying at this Villa if you want to be spoiled by the beauty and conveniences this property has. We will be back as soon as possible. definitely b

Twice as Fun in Paradise!

This was our second time staying at Casa Vendaval. It is such a beautiful property and area. There are all the amenities you need for an amazing luxury vacation. Thank you Mac, Edwin and Erma for always making us feel at “home away from home”. We look forward to when we can return to paradise.

Beautiful place to relax it was very well maintained and beautiful. Very helpful. Bring water shoes if you go in the water otherwise pool was perfect . Sunrise is the best and there is a restaurant walking distant if need be . Highly recommend

Ocean

The house was wonderful, and it was amazing to hear the ocean crashing against the shore every second of our stay. However, the long dirt drive was a little grind. Recommend it very highly.

SUCH A HIDDEN GEM!

This place was amazing! Mac, Maritza and Walter were so kind and helpful! They did not bother us one bit. The property was clean and so relaxing. It was so convenient too! We walked to the other hotels for dinner and on the beach to collect all the pretty seashells! We are definitely returning!

Great, private location

Loved the location and the house. Tulum has really blown up over the past 10-15 years and is not as quiet and "off the beaten path" as before. My wife and I specifically picked this house because it appeared to be a little more outside main Tulum and thus more quiet/peaceful. We were really happy with the location...felt more secluded even though we were only about 5 miles from town. Great setup, great views of the ocean. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect size and layout. Great location. Private. Great owner communications and on-site help.

We found it easy, comfy, and private here. We come to the area often - Cancun to Tulum and really enjoyed our stay here. If you are unfamiliar with the area... I would highly recommend working with the owner and his staff to shop for you in advance of your arrival and even prepare your meals for you if you like. It doesn't get much better than this!
