Family friendly, great place

We had a really nice 9-day stay here in late July 2023. My 6yo daughter and I stayed in one room, and my friend and her daughter in the other room. The apartment was very comfortable for the four of us and we were pleasantly surprised by how well-outfitted the kitchen was; we were able to easily prepare - and store leftovers from - a few simple meals during the week when we didn't feel like going out. Purified drinking water was also provided in the unit which was another nice surprise. Communication with Sergi prior to our arrival and with Alberto on-site was basically instantaneous and very easy; both were responsive and helpful. Our favorite aspect of the unit was the beautiful pool. It was a perfect place for our kiddos to swim and play and also a nice place for adults to dip and cool off. There is no "deep end" - the vast majority of the pool is shoulder-height for our kids. The only thing I didn't *love* about the unit was that the neighborhood it's in is very quiet and residential, which is very nice and felt safe and comfortable - but there wasn't a ton that was walkable in terms of restaurants or services. With small kids, the loaner bikes didn't really work for us, so we used our rental car a lot. So... that's not a complaint because I'm pretty sure if we came back to Tulum we'd make the exact same choice (trading the pool and other building amenities for walkability). Overall a wonderful stay! Would choose this unit again!

Relaxing stay!

We had an AMAZING stay at the condo here in Tulum! The condo was perfect for our needs with all the right stuff in the kitchen as well as the beautiful furnishings. The pool was absolutely stunning and we enjoyed it with our kiddos. Alberto was awesome and helpful with recommendations around town and beyond! We loved staying here and would love to stay again ❤️

Awesome vacation

The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our two week stay. Alberto was fantastic. He responded to all of our questions immediately, including getting a bike tire repaired overnight. He also shared recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Alberto also recommend a taxi driver, who was very professional and always on time. The bikes were a great bonus. We really enjoyed exploring with the bikes. The bike path to the beach is great and keeps you out of traffic for about 1.5 miles. It took about 20 minutes on the bikes to reach the beach and about 15 minutes to town. I would definitely recommend this unit and Alberto! I hope to return and vacation here again. Thanks, Alberto for everything!

Relaxing and Clean!

We had a great time here, the room was clean and all appliances were new and worked great. The AC was easy to use and whisper quiet. The sunrise from the patio was magical with all the birds. Would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful Stay

condo was beautiful. i dont believe photos on listing do it justice. It is even more beautiful in person. Everyone treated us great from the host to security guard at the front desk. loved that only residents had access to condos. From the photos you dont realize that the pool encompasses the entire center courtyard of the condos which makes it for a really relaxing comfortable place to stay. really close to all the hot spots in tulum. definitely a better option than paying triple to stay at the tulum hotel zone. all of the neighborhood seems fairly new. we would definitely stay here again. gracias sergi y alberto.

Casa Ya'ab was exactly what we were looking for

Casa Ya'ab was perfect for our Spring Break week. It is quietly located in the Condo area of Tulum nestled equal distance between downtown Tulum and the Tulum beaches. We utilized the included bicycles on a daily basis to get us to both. The condo was very clean and as described. The pool area was great and used daily. Sergio and Alberto were very responsive to any requests or questions that we had.

Super clean and quiet little place with everything!

I came here with 5 people total for a short trip from playa del Carmen. Sergio was very prompt in answereing all my questions by text and even gave great recommendations for beaches and cenotes in the area. The property was clean, pool was beautiful and kitchen stocked with basic tools to make meals. One thing that would be nice is an ice machine on property and a bar tender at the pool bar. Other than that everything was amazing. I would recommend for families or couples on holiday. Close to stores and the archaeological sites.

AMAZING find!

My friends and I came to Tulum for a bachelorette party and I’m so glad I came across Sergi’s listing. Everything was amazing, and Sergi and Denisse were great with communicating prior to the trip. Any questions I had they were quick to respond to. I even mentioned I forgot to bring painters tape to hang decorations and they graciously provided a roll for us! The apartment was so clean and perfect for 5 girls. The pool was also beautiful and nice to relax in each day. I would 100% come back and stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Awesome. Everything you need. Great pool and lounge chairs . Huge apartment. Great movie selection.

The bikes was a bonus. Pool towels were extra from bath towels. Owners checked in, were there if you needed anything and responded almost immediately when we had a question.

Great Condo with Great Hosts

We stayed 7 nights in January, 2019. The condo was fantastic and our hosts, Sergi and Denise provided a very high level of service. They greeted us at check in with smiles and offers to help with whatever we might need during our stay. They were very responsive, friendly and great to deal with. Everything in the condo functioned as it was supposed to, and the palm tree right off the balcony/master BR was a wonderful thing to see first thing in the morning (though the blackout blinds were a great feature!). We would stay here again, and definitely recommend this condo, and Sergi and Denise as hosts.

Great spot for families

Denisse and Sergi were great hosts and very attentive to our needs. We stayed there with our 2 year old and 6 month old so appreciated the crib, beach toys, and baby rattles they provided.

A fantastic apartment between the beach and town on a new development.

Denisse and Sergi were very helpful and could not help enough. Lots of recommendations and happy to help with transfers. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need. We were 5 and it was comfortable it would be tight if there were more of you. The location is good and the bikes useful, some excellent local restaurants but all a taxi ride or short drive away. The pool has plenty of shade and the balcony makes a good location for a sunny breakfast. The apartments were very quiet when we were there and most days we had the pool to ourselves.

Our stay at Casa Ya’ab was phenomenal! From arrival to departure we received excellent attention.

As soon as we arrived the security guard, Ismael, was very polite and immediately called the property manager who arrived shortly to let us in to Casa Ya’ab. Jessica was pleasantly professional showing and explaining all the ins and outs of the condo. Best of all she gave us suggestions which ruins where most interesting to visit (Ek-Balam), great cenotes, cities to visit and places to eat. We came back every night exhausted to wonderfully, comfortable firm beds and woke up to prepare breakfast in a great kitchen. Bathrooms all functioned with good water pressure and working toilets. All the linens were clean and of good quality. The washer and dryer, TV, furniture, patio everything was just simply perfect. Super clean, practical and inviting. Bicycles were great and the pool was amazing!! Best of all, Sergi and Denisse were such gracious hosts that I do not have enough words to commentate their thoughtfulness in making us feel like we were at home. Mi casa es su casa is truly Casa Ya’Ab.
