Lake trip 2025

8 of my friends and me stayed here for a weekend get away there was enough room for everyone . Everyone thought the house was beautiful had all the things we need cooked a full meal and breakfast. Great house for big families or just a ton friends

Family gathering

Family from Virginia and Knoxville stayed in the house. Ver y impressed with the accommodations. The only complaint that was said is that some of the dishes were not clean that was pulled out to use but we washed them. Shannon is a very helpful and understanding. We will definitely like to use it again.

Country Charm

If you’re looking for a getaway with country charm this is the place. To relaxing on the back deck or curled up on the couch with a good book. Everything you need is already available just pick up some groceries and you are all set. Want to explore the area everything is a short 20 minute car ride. Highly recommend Rutledge Falls or the Oldham Theater. Looking forward to booking our next stay this will be a family tradition.

Camp Porter at Holiday Landing Marina

Great location! Golf cart to the marina in 3 minutes, my son met us at the marina with his pontoon, beautiful boating on Tim’s Ford- lots of fish biting. Excellent food at both Blue Gill Grill and Twin Creeks. Hiking through Tim’s Ford which is only 7 minutes away. The house has everything you need; my favorite part of house was screened in back porch with tv and fireplace; wooded back yard with so many birds. Firepit was enjoyed by all. Excellent vacation, I will definitely be back.

Family summer vacation 2024

We had a great stay and the house had everything we needed. There were 8 of us and we fit comfortably. We rented a boat from Holiday Landing and enjoyed 1 day on the lake, fishing and boating. The kids enjoyed taking golf cart rides down the road and down to the lake. Access to a golf cart was a nice perk. Thank you for sharing your place! The Duniphan Family

Memorial Weekend Getaway

We took a family trip Memorial weekend to do the Jack Daniels distillery tour and spend time with family. This property was perfect for our family of 5 and Shannon was very responsive when we had questions. My daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed using the kayak on the lake and we all enjoyed a meal at the restaurant nearby at the marina. We would love to return to this lovely rental in the future!

Property and neighborhood was great and as advertised. Communication was first rate and the golf cart and the paved path to the lake and marina added a great flare. You are within 20 minutes to everything you would want to do as a tourist. Great- wifi, flat screen tvs.

Lake cottage

My brother and I stayed at this adorable lake cottage. Everything in ad was as described. The Holiday Landing Marina was not what we expected, restaurant was closed for the season. We ended up renting a pontoon boat with our TN friends at Tims Ford Marina (slightly bigger and open) and was a short drive from cottage. We did not see any walking trails from the back yard (as it appeared on map). Other than that we had such a great time and very comfortable staying at this lake cottage.

Lake life living

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised and served as a wonderful place for us to hangout and spend quality time together after a day on the lake. Well appointed, great location and easy access to the marina via the complimentary golf cart and driving path. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and communication was excellent. We highly recommend this property and are all ready looking forward to our next visit.

Relaxing Stay

Great house, decorated so cute! Everything was there for an enjoyable and relaxing weekend stay. Highly recommend for a retreat near Tims Ford Lake. Golf cart was convenient to get down the hill to the marina. We look forward to returning when restaurant opens for the season!

Excellent Place for Family Trip

We stayed for Thanksgiving week at the Porter property and were quite pleased with the space and the quality of the interior. I looked at several properties from this area and was quite glad I chose the one because it is a new development and they are still building down the street. There was construction going on that would have been quite loud in other locations but we were not bothered at this particular property. It was cold and we were not able to use the water area but there were plenty of things in the golf shed that would have been fun to use in warmer weather. The golf cart does make the steep trip to the Marina easy. The interior was decorated very nicely and my kids loved the outdoor screened area with a fireplace and TV. Even though it was 40 and below, they were very warm by the fire. There were plenty of linens, nice fast washer and dryer and a dollar store about 6 miles away that stocks quite a bit. Two grocery stores--Krogers and Publix are about 20 minutes away. We loved the local Celtic Coffeehouse and the Water Chocolate. Other favorites were Freddies for wings and Piggies for barbeque. Tom's Ford State park was nice for hiking and free. We also went to the Old Stone State Park for a ranger hike (they offer all kinds of programs there). We also visited The Caverns (about 1 hour away) for a tour. This is a very nice location in the are and easy to drive to see a variety of things.

Is this property sits up on an idyllic road that runs beside Tom's Ford Lake. This beautiful home has all kinds of amazing amenities and and a back porch you do not want to leave. I If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the fall this is the place!

Great weekend getaway!!

This house was perfect for us! Everything is brand new and the screened in porch is awesome! Got a lot of use out of the ping pong table on down times :)) The golf cart was a hit with our kiddos. We went off season but would definitely go back in the summer since it’s right by the marina!! And there is a shortcut to get there with the cart!! Some houses are still in construction (oct 2021) but it was not an issue at all. Neighborhood felt safe and family friendly. Rental process and check in/out were very easy and smooth! We would rent it again for sure!!
