Check in was a struggle as the property gate was poorly maintained and basically broken. We couldn't get in and had to wait nearly 30 minutes for help to arrive. The property and home is fantastic. Pool, hot tub, grilling areas, and the charming home is wonderful.Beware of pests. Mice and cockroaches were present. Owner said it would be taken care of.

We had difficulty getting new lights outside by the front of the house. The lights were replaced on our last night though we asked every day and the most important light, the one outside the gate near parking was never replaced leaving the entry before entering the gate to the house very dark. The house overall was fine but we think the pictures make the home seem more luxurious so the value was not what we expected. There were rugs that have loose floor tiles under them and the bathroom rugs do not look like they have been washed. The towels were just okay but no wash cloths for the liquid soaps.The beds and bed linen were all really nice and very comfortable.The pool was fine though it seems like the water feature didn’t work. The hot tub was nice though the lid looked very old and likely needs to be replaced recovered.We couldn’t find any information on appliances, things to see or do and places to eat which we have experienced at other homes we have stayed in. Apparently, there is a link you can follow but we didn’t find it until the second to last night and we couldn’t access it as it gave a warning the link wasn’t secure so we didn’t proceed.We expected a higher end stay given the price per night and unfortunately were disappointed.

Our stay went well. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The house and kitchen had everything that was described and needed. A few criticisms would be that the house is older than we expected and had a musty smell that was a bit bothersome. Also the neighborhood wasn’t the nicest. It was fine for us as we were not there much but will not be returning.

Everything we needed in Tucson

Our family of 5 visited Tucson for a week of outdoor activities. The property was extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. We used the high quality hot tub and pool every day. The kitchen had all things we needed and some basic condiments for cooking. The location was decent, not really a pedestrian neighborhood but I did feel comfortable going for runs in the morning. We had good access to get out to the mountains. We highly recommend!

Nice for UofA family weekend

The home was a nice place to connect and relax around all the UofA family weekend activities. Our daughter enjoyed a break from her dorm. We used the pool to get relief from the heat and enjoyed the record player and games and puzzles.

Dreamy & relaxing

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The home is nicely decorated and well-stocked for the basics. The beds were super comfy with nice quality linens. The back yard, pool and hot tub were a delight to enjoy. Would definitely stay here again :) Thank you for having us.

Great Family Place

Great location for our family. Kids loved pool - was slow to heat so recommend getting that started early if you need it. Location felt pretty close to climbing, biking, hiking and good food. All around positive and would stay again.

Excellent spot for a group stay

This house is quite unique - a time capsule that feels modern. Very cozy. Master bedroom is very legit. Pool and hot tub are most relaxing. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and it's easy to get to most areas of the city. Probably the most well-stocked place I've ever stayed. Could cook a whole thanksgiving dinner if you wanted. We regrettably did not.

Another Five Star Visit

We returned to Rosewood Adobe and once again, thoroughly enjoyed it. Among many highlights, the pool is wonderful and the family including our 11 and 14 year old grandkids spent considerable time in it. The U-shaped layout is great for people like me who dislike the sound of the TV when we are reading. I was able to curl up with a book in the master bedroom on a very comfortable chair and could not hear a sound.

Excellent Stay

Great central location. But the best surprise is how adorable the property is. Cute little surprises I won’t spoil. Highly recommend for your entire family or just yourself. The backyard is a total oasis. I also recommend paying a little extra for a heated pool and Jacuzzi that are ready to jump into it anytime. Parking is a breeze. My favorite VBRO so far.

Great house with pool

We had a great stay at the Rosewood Adobe. The house is just as pictured, and the host (Erin) was super responsive. Our family of four was very happy to have three bedrooms with comfortable beds and two well-appointed bathrooms. Everything about staying here was easy, and we would definitely return. The pool was definitely a highlight - can't imagine visiting Tucson in the summer without one.

Absolutely stunning!

Beautiful house and yard straight out of Sunset Magazine! The home is thoughtfully curated with art and furniture, and equipped with useful kitchen appliances so you can stay in and cook a delicious meal if you wish. There’s a CVS not too far should you need anything. Our kids (ages 14 and 12) loved swimming in the pool and we all enjoyed the jacuzzi. Pool floats and games are provided by the host. We’ll definitely be back!

Quality of Host

It is when problems occur that one learns the true quality of the host. We had some bad luck (plumbing, wifi...) during our stay that was no fault of either us or our host She was totally responsive and terrific in addressing everything and then, without our asking, provided a very generous credit to our bill. Meanwhile, we really loved the home. It is very comfortable, has a great layout, is situated a short drive from many amenities and has a beautiful backyard. Our grandkids loved the pool. We appreciated the locked fence surrounding the property so we could feel safe opening doors to let in the cool night air. Despite the issues that arose, if we return to Tucson, we will definitely want to rent again from this host.

Super Cool Place!

Erin's place is super cool. A hip vibe right when you walk in the door with modern and retro finishes throughout the entire house. Erin made the entire process very user-friendly and there was no support needed; the place was perfect in every way when we showed up. Overall the house was relaxing and welcoming and we would have loved to hang out on the back patio more or enjoy the pool but we were there for work and so we did not get too much time to "hang out". I would definitely stay here again if I was ever back in Tucson.
