Beautiful, spacious home with great amenities and a magnificent view. Plenty of room for four adults. Very clean. Host was very prompt responding to our questions. We enjoyed the club's pool and pickle ball courts.

This was our 2nd time staying at this property, and was a great experience. The property is unique and incredible, and the host goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is top notch. His communication and accommodations are excellent, and he provides the key provisions so that the only supplies you need are food and drinks.

From the minute you drive up to this secluded house nestled at the top of the foothills of the Catalina’s, you know you are in for a special stay. Once inside this well laid out and spacious property, the homeowner has thought of every amenity you may need. Venture out onto the three decks where you get spectacular day and night vistas of the Catalina’s, Ventana Canyon, Sabino Canyon, and the Tucson area. The private pool just a few steps down from property is an amazing extra along with access to a great resort. Topping it off is the serenity and peacefulness of it all.

I absolutely love this home and the owner is so nice. He is right there if you need anything and so kind. I feel at home here. Love the view, it’s stunning looking over Tucson lights at night. The pool is also fantastic. Highly recommend! I’ve been there twice and I’ll be back.

Quiet getaway

My wife and I were looking for a short getaway just before I started my new job, and this property seemed to be the right choice. But I feel the description doesn't do this place justice. The house is nestled into the mountain and the views are fantastic with the golf course and surrounding valley below. We enjoyed a few nights just sitting out on the deck with some wine, overlooking the city. A great place to unwind and relax.Jason was very easy to communicate with, giving us everything we needed before arriving, and making sure everything was still going well during our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from Jason again in the future.

Heaven in desert hills

The house was extremely well-kept, on a beautiful hillside with a view of the entire area. Everything was as stated on their listing. We enjoyed the peace and quiet coupled with the beauty of the landscape. The area is very nice, upscale, with all the required amenities. I would certainly stay there again.

Great Getaway

This property presents an interesting quandary. Do we tell everyone how great and clean the property was and how every view offers breath taking views of cactuses and mountains? Or do we say negative things so it remains our little secret so we will be able to go back whenever we want. We will have to stay positive and share that the property exceeded all expectations and the property manager was an unbelievable host who was always willing to lend a hand when needed. We will definitely be going back.

Break from winter

Had a great stay getting our golf swing back & getting in some great hikes. Great location for getting around Tucson. Best of all though was the amazing view from the home-truly stunning! Home was well supplied for our multi-week stay and if I had any questions, owner was always available.

Gorgeous spot and views!

We stayed at this house for a week over Christmas to get some sun and enjoy extended family who also live in the Ventana area. The location was perfect for us as close to our family, but it is a little far from the main roads (you have to drive through the resort neighborhood and then exit/enter through the gatehouse every time). The house is high up - the views are incredible! As an early riser, I enjoyed coffee at sunrise and watching the city below slowly light up. Sunset was even more spectacular. To get up to the house, you do have to drive up a very steep, curvy driveway. This was a bit nerve-racking for some of our family who don't like heights.The house was great for us. The interior is slightly dated but very clean and functional. The kitchen had everything we needed - was quite well stocked- but is slightly small for a large group if you were planning on doing a lot of cooking. Overall, we would stay there again (and might)! Jason was great to work with and very accomodating - lots of communication and responded to questions quickly.

Thanksgiving Family Event

Originally from the Tucson area but we came in for the holidays and wanted to help my older family members not to have to worry about the extra bodies I brough with us and wanted to be able to host Thanksgiving. We had a small family gathering and it was perfect. Had to work while there and loved the view. Couldn't have asked for a better place. The host was so attentive and responsive as well.

Magical is a correct description!

Jason, our host, could not have been more accommodating. His home was exactly as described and offered us a superb vacation. We would recommend this home to those that want to stay away from the hustle and hustle but yet have that hustle and bustle readily available. It is literally on the side of a mountain and offers spectacular views in an exquisite home. The one lane paved switchback driveway takes some getting used to but it is in perfect condition and easily negotiable.

A peaceful and lovely retreat

The house is beautiful, well-furnished, and in an excellent and very private location with abundant wildlife and birds (roadrunners!). The views of the surrounding mountains and desert from the many balconies were lovely, especially at sunrise and sunset. Wifi and entertainment options were great. Jason was an outstanding host, very responsive to questions and providing good recommendations for the area. We loved our stay, and would definitely come again. Highly recommended!

This is our second time visiting this incredible home. The views are unparalleled and you have the best of both worlds. Beauty of the Sonoran desert & close to any amenities. Our favorite VRBO by far! I can't imagine visiting Tucson any other way!
