    There are so many opportunities to stay and play in this lovely five-bedroom home that you'll be hard pressed to leave, despite a fantastic north Tucson location. This golf-course fronted property sits on the El Conquistador course twelfth green and offers a private, five-hole putting green in the back yard, a firepit, gas grill, and a private pool and spa, separately gated from the rest of the yard. It's dog-friendly as well, complete with two dog crates available for your use.

    Inside, everything is fresh and bright. The home was updated and redecorated in 2022 with new mattresses, paint, carpet, furniture, electronics, lighting, ceiling fans, window treatments and more. The chef will love the well-equipped kitchen, which features a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a new dishwasher. There's a wine fridge as well, perfect for chilling a bottle to enjoy on the patio at the end of the day. When it's time to eat, the dining room features a convivial, round table for ten.

    More perks inside include a Peloton bike with clip-in options to accommodate any shoe, a pool table, high-speed WiFi and desks in every bedroom plus the office, perfect for remote work. After a day of exploring (or enjoying the home), gather together on the large sectional to stream your favorite shows on the wall-mounted TV, or grab one of the provided board games for more together time.

    At the end of the night, there are five comfortable bedrooms to choose from. There are four queen rooms, including one on the main floor. Four of the bedrooms feature TVs as well, in case you can't agree on what to watch. Whether exploring the city or just relaxing at home, the Habanero Hideaway has you covered for the perfect Tucson getaway.

This house was perfect for our family of two adults, three teenagers, and a dog. Plenty of place to spread out, well-stocked kitchen, little touches like pillows and throws for the couch, games, puzzles, extra pool towels made it very comfortable and fun. We look forward to returning!

The perfect golf getaway

So much space, all the comforts you'd need, and then there's a private pool & hot tub, putting green, pool table...! Quiet neighborhood that's close to it all and most excellent hosts. Can't wait to get back!

Great stay

We chose this house for a family stay and it did not disappoint. The house is in a great neighborhood, it was extremely clean and everything was as advertised. I will book this house again if we go back.

Family Christmas

This house was perfect for our family Christmas. Comfortable beds for everyone and plenty of room. It was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to our planned activities here in Oro Valley. We will definitely put this on a place to visit again!

We had a wonderful few days. The pool was great and house accommodated 5 women comfortably.

One of our party was handicapped. We would have liked to have some grab bars in the showers that were in the tub. Our overall experience was great.

Girls golf

We had a pleasant stay. The house is well equipped, spacious & very clean. We did not see any instructions for the main upstairs bath & could not turn it on until somebody saw some in the downstairs bath. The driveway has an uneven seam, big tripping hazard. The rug in the dining room is curling up & again a tripping hazard. Overall it was very comfy & we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Weekend family gathering

Overall very good. Door to master bedroom sticks and is noisy to open. 10am required checkout is restrictive. 11am would be more reasonable. Other wise we were happy with house and its amenities.

There was plenty of space for the 10 guests. There was barely enough toilet paper provided, no extra in the downstairs bathroom-the most heavily used because we were all downstairs most of the time. The pool and spa heater worked good. Had issues with the faucet in one of upstairs bathrooms-took too long to figure out the problem. Really thought management should of come out when we first reached out for help. Thr yard-fire pit and putting green were nice.

Look no further!

I am very picky about where I'll stay and so I spent hours online looking for a property that was spaking clean, updated, spacious, well-situated, and could accomodate our three grown daughters, a fiance, and a dog. We wanted to be close to good restuarants and to outdoor activities. We also wanted to have things to do back at the house. This deluxe property met all those criteria. We loved the hot spa tub, the putt putt, the pool table. We did not pay to heat the pool (we stayed in January) but used the spa and then plunged into the cold pool. Very Scandinavian. One thing to note is that there are two bathrooms upstairs for 4 bedrooms. One is a large ensuite bath in the masterbedroom; the other bathroom is for the other upstairs three bedrooms. (There is also a bedrooma nd additional small full bath on the main floor.) We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend Catalina State park with dog-friendly trails, Tohono Chul, and Sabino Canyon, all close by.

What a refuge!

This was a great rental experience. The house was “absolutely perfect for us,” as one family member put it. The house layout worked well with immediate family members upstairs and visiting family downstairs. The house itself was clean, comfortable, fully stocked with high-quality necessities (including the kitchen), and without any clutter. The clean garage was also much appreciated! We spent much of our free time outside on the patio. It was very comfortable, had a lovely desert view, was SO quiet(!), and was perfect for dog play. We didn’t use the adorable golf course, but would have under different circumstances, as it was quite a unique offering! We did get to use the pool several times and it was a delightful gift to us. We deeply appreciated the many visitor-friendly features of the house, including the secure door lock system. The property manager frequently communicated with us and was readily available to us, though we didn’t need anything. Overall a great experience! We were very grateful for this refuge!

Great house!

We really enjoyed this house. This house itself is very nice. The neighborhood is safe and we felt comfortable with my daughter--in-law goung on her morning runs. It is close to shopping and great restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped. It had everything we needed! Plenty of dishes, pots and pans - even a great blender. Bedrooms were nice with comfortable beds. Dresser space is a little small, but there is a suitcase stand in each room and space to sit it. The patio is amazing! I sat out with a cup of coffee and watched the world wake up each morning. You can enjoy owls hooting and all kinds of birds singing. The landscaping is beautiful. The one surprise for us was that the master bedroom with walk in shower is upstairs. We had one handicapped wheelchair bound family member and had planned for him to be in that room. The smaller downstairs bedroom was a little more difficult for him, but we made it work. Also, the upstairs front bedrooms get a little warm, but if you leave the fans on and the doors open, it is manageable. We really enjoyed this house and would stay here again.

Great location and spotless

The house was very clean. It has a fair amount of amenities and everything necessary to cook for the week. The pool, hot tub and putting green are great additions. One suggestion is adding bikes. With so many trails nearby, bikes would be a great addition. The home was short on supplies such as bath and pool towels, paper towels, garbage bags, detergent, Kleenex, etc. Four adults were there five days and ran out of Kleenex and garbage bags and had to do two loads of laundry to replace the pool towels. The downstairs towel leaked and the upstairs guest bathroom tub and shower did not dispense any water. We didn’t see a shut off valve and couldn’t determine the issue. We sent messages to the owner via the VRBO app, but didn’t receive a response. Vacasa finally responded, but not until we had already checked out, which was disappointing. Had it not been for the low supplies and the leaky toilet and nonfunctional tub/shower, I would give the property five stars. I assume this will all be addressed soon though, and would book again next time I am in town.

Liked it but a few issues should be addressed

Our four-day stay at the Habanero Hideaway through VRBO was a mixed experience, but overall enjoyable. The property boasts amenities like a pool, hot tub, fire pit, and putting green, which added to our vacation experience. However, there were a few hiccups along the way. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the pool and hot tub weren’t heated as advertised. It took some time to figure out how to get them heated, causing a bit of inconvenience on our first night. Additionally, some of the bathrooms were small, but they were clean and functional. While the checkout instructions were reasonable, they could have been clearer, especially regarding garbage and recycling procedures. The absence of informational booklets explaining house rules and checkout processes contributed to some confusion during our stay. Despite these issues, we appreciated the efforts made by the host to address problems promptly. However, some electrical problems persisted throughout our stay, such as non-functional outlets in the master bathroom and a malfunctioning pool light at night. In conclusion, the Habanero Hideaway provided a pleasant getaway with its amenities, despite minor inconveniences and issues with communication and maintenance. With some improvements in clarity of instructions and resolving electrical issues, it could offer an even better experience for future guests.
