Casa velo was a great place to stay! House is as pictured: beautiful 3 section patio with comfortable seating picnic tables, hot tub and fire pit and large cooking area with charcoal grill. Great mountain views from the patio areas and the living room. Kitchen is small but is well equiped. Large indoor table and comfortable living room seating- with a great view. All 3 bedrooms have queen beds with pillow tops. For me, the beds were too soft but was not a deal breaker for this great house- but if you need a firm bed- this might not be for you. House stayed cool in the heat. , and had easy to use heat/AC. location is great: view of mountains and situated on the wash. We saw lots of birds- especially my favorite gamble quails, and woodpeckers and hummingbirds. Even had a bobcat walk by 1 day! House is up in Oro valley - making it close for hiking in saguaro west or getting to gates pass. But is about 1/2hr into town and longer if you want to get to saguaro east or sabino canyon. Plenty of shopping in the area. And close to 2 of the farmers markets.Getting in and out was easy. Hosts were responsive to any questions. House was well stocked with towels and.basics in the kitchen. Would highly recommend this house to anyone coming to Tuscon.

Spring Break '25

The property is great for entertaining. It is centrally located to several great restaurants. Our check-in was not great (while it probably won't happen to anyone else, it was probably a one-time issue). I felt like the communication responses were immediate, but AI generated. One of the local manager's number given to us was to someone who no longer manages the property. It took a little less then an hour to get in the house. Once in the house, the electricity wasn't working in part of the house. We were not able to make dinner the first night because of it. The property owner did not offer any concessions for these inconveniences.

Steve is very responsive to any concerns and requests. The yard is amaziing! So much potential for entertaining large groups. Our Border collie loved playing there!Close to good restaurants and biking and hiking.

Great outdoor space…. 3 tiers including hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit, spent of outdoor furniture to entertain. Big dining table inside to accommodate 8-10 peopleThe hot tub does need work in maintaining hot temp or maintaining temp… seats 4 people.. temp around 98 but cools off quickly

Highly recommend

House was lovely, well-appointed and clean. The location worked great for us - felt private but very close to grocery and restaurants and easy to get around to places around Tucson. The manager was very responsive to any questions. I will definitely recommend this place to others who might be visiting Tucson.

Beautiful stay for vow renewal

Beautiful property, views are amazing and the location is great, easy to get on the highway. Great space for hosting a party. Furnishings were comfortable and a/c worked great! The outdoor area was fairly messy and the windows indoors had very large cobwebs, it was clear that those don’t get clean very often. Other than that the rooms were clean and we had a pleasant stay. The property manager is really nice and prompt with responses. He was able to send someone over very quickly when we weren’t able to figure out how to work the sound system.

Comfortable house with great views

This house was ideal for 5 adults over the holidays. The backyard and the views from the living room are amazing. Important to note for future guests is that the house is lacking some vacation home essentials - be prepared to bring or buy all kitchen basics like oil, basic spices, coffee filters, etc. The home could use updated rugs, towels, and better bath products, plus reorganizing the kitchen cabinets which contain unnecessary items. Overall, it’s a comfortable home, just lacking the nice finishing touches that make vacation homes 5-star. While the host was quick to reply, unfortunately he miscommunicated about checkin time and did not respond in a professional manner or offer to address the inconvenience.

Gorgeous vacation home away from home

This property is both beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I stayed here for a week with our two young children. While the bedrooms were cozy and the views from the enormous living room windows were picturesque, we spent most of our time in the outdoor living areas. When traveling to Arizona, the pleasant climate begs to be enjoyed, and there are no better places to enjoy it than this property's multi-level patio, outdoor kitchen, and hot tub. We ate meals, played games, watched gorgeous desert sunsets, and spotted numerous constellations from the patio and hot tub. Our children loved seeing cacti and wild desert rabbits in their own back yard. The property manager is friendly and responsive. It is easy to access downtown Tucson and the entrance to Saguaro Nat'l Park from this property. I'd love to go back and stay for a month!

Amazing Property!

My family and a couple of friends needed a place to stay while we were in town for my dad's funeral. I was looking for a place were we could be together outside and chat or play a game together in the evening. The property was absolutely perfect for our needs particularly in the outside area because there were lots of places around the yard to have a smaller conversation or gather as a larger group. We loved the lower area with firepit and dining table to gather around for a meal and play a game. The inside of the house was very cool! It had a mid-century/modern vibe which we loved and huge picture windows overlooking the beautiful Arizona desert. Steve was very responsive and the instructions at the house were thorough so there was no need to contact him once we were there. The kitchen was especially well stocked in terms of any cooking items you might need and we did make a couple of meals there. I would highly recommend this stay!

Great location, beautiful home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This home is in a great location and close to wonderful restaurants and shops. The house is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable. We would have preferred a fully fenced backyard for our dogs, but we made do. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful biking oasis!

We had an amazing vacation staying at Casa Velo and biking the loop nearby. The house was well situated in a quiet neighborhood with accessible bike trails and had lovely outdoor space complete with great landscaping and interesting artwork. Our hosts were very responsive throughout our stay - would definitely recommend!

Cute, fun and cozy.

Over all experience was great! Clean outdoor patio was awesome for gatherings speakers all through out, kitchen had everything was fully stocked. Dining table was big and great for a family dinner. Beds where super comfy. If your looking to lounge around in the living room this is not the spot couches were uncomfortable. Tv was outdated and speaker was blown out. Also washer didn’t work and was kinda bummed it would have been nice to wash before we left. Other then that our stay was great.
