About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cabins in the bush. Sea views and abundant native bird life.

Want get away from it all and don't mind roughing it a bit. This a series of cabins set in native bush and close to gorgeous beaches. 3 sleeping cabins, a kitchen cabin with 2 fridges, a microwave and a double electric hob. A shower cabin and a toilet cabin with a composting loo. There is also a bbq and a pizza oven.
Relax in a large communal, covered dining/lounge area with a sofa, dinning table and sea view.
There will be spiders and weta but also tui and kaka, piwakawaka (fantails) and korimarko (bellbirds).
Tuateawa is a quiet settlement 40 minutes north of Coromandel Town over narrow, winding, unsealed roads. The nearest shops are in Coromandel Town or Colville which is 35 minutes away. The nearest cafes are in Colville.
Please bring all your own linen, including pillows, duvets, sheets, towels and tea towels.

Great bush hideaway
Great cabins, location - we really enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the native bush - many different native birds, insects etc. Lot of mosquitos, which is expected. Thankyou for letting us stay here. Plumbing in the shower/kitchen needs looking into (drainage).

Outstanding bush getaway
Extremely quiet and private setting with the beautiful sounds of native birds and exquisite native bush canopies. The rustic cabin layout and organic pathways created a setting unlike anywhere I've encountered. We will definitely return. Huge thank you to our hosts.
