  • Now with A/C and expanded parking!!!! Enjoy 120 feet of secluded private beach front and three separate structures to spread out. We have a six night minimum July through August. Check in is on Saturday and check out is on Friday during those months.

    The house is three separate structures - the main house, a beach house suite and the boat house, which are all included in the listing. It's located approximately 30 minutes from Cornell and Ithaca College, and is just one mile from Taughannock State Park.

Our family had a great few days on the lake. Most importantly, the beachfront and dock are perfect for everybody to get in and out of the water easily. And the lake was quiet and lovely. The big deck on the main level was great for hanging out and having meals all together. The 2nd little house was cute, but smelled so musty and like mothballs; it wasn't sleepable. So some of the family ended up sleeping on the big couch in the top of the boathouse, which is clean and bright and airy. It's too bad there's no bed there! The sinks could all use some maintenance, and the TV didn't work, but none of that was too important. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

I did not realize how big this place was when I first booked it - but that’s a good thing! The boathouse and your own beachfront area was perfect, especially with the smaller houses use of a kitchen, we could have lunch downstairs and dinner in the main house. There was a brown out the week before so somehow our air stopped working, but we made it work and they were communicative about it. One small complaint is that there was only one small TV in the main room and we couldn’t really get it to work other than that. He had an awesome time for a bachelorette. I could definitely see a family or a handful of couples getaway.

Great property with an amazing view of and access to the lake. The kitchen was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Lots of parking, enough for many cars. The bathrooms were all recently renovated and were very clean. Lots of extra blankets and towels. If you don’t like stairs, then I wouldn’t recommend but luckily everyone in our party was fine with stairs. It’s a little hard to find as GPS wasn’t perfect at directions to the place but we would highly recommend this place.

The lake house was in a great location with a beautiful setting. The view of the lake was awesome. To help travelers plan please note that 2 of the twin beds in the main house, were more like a wooden slat futon beds with a thin mattress pad. They were not twin beds as listed. We could not sleep in the beach house due to the musty/moth ball smell. A flashlight was needed to see down the deck steps as most outdoor lighting was not operational.

We absolutely loved our stay at the property. The only complaint was the weather! However we were nice and cozy inside and had a wonderful weekend celebrating our son who graduated from Ithaca College

We had a family reunion with teenagers, young ones and adults. We enjoyed putting our boat up on the boat lift, the kayaks and water fun. The house met all of our expectations.

Wonderful place for a Finger Lakes getaway with a great beach that we and our dog loved and nearby hiking, wineries and restaurants. Debra was fantastic, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. The main house was clean and well equipped with high-speed wifi for the couple of meetings I wasn't able to get out of. Highly recommended.

college graduation

Our extended family stayed at Mia’s lake house for the memorial day weekend to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from college. The house was beautiful, clean and welcoming. Used the kayaks and enjoyed the lake thoroughly. The host was welcoming and made our stay very easy and memorable.

Unique house and beautiful location

Our stay was wonderful! House was immaculate. The only tough thing to get used to was the sulfur smell from the water but that is to expected with a lakehouse. A beautiful spot.

Lake Weekend

This house was absolutely incredible. The view of the lake from the house deck, boat dock, and private beach were breathtaking. There was plenty of space for all of our guests and the house was extremely clean upon arrival. We also loved the kayaks and paddleboards provided by the owner. This added an extra element of fun on the lake! I would highly recommend this property to anybody thinking of visiting Cayuga Lake, NY.

Wonderful!

This was our first time in the Finger Lakes. We were thrilled with this house, and it turned out to be all that we needed and then some. The location was beautiful, the view was amazing, and Debra Wallace was incredibly responsive. When we asked questions, she was back to us within an hour in rare cases, and within minutes in most cases. I can heartily recommend this property to anyone!

Family Vaction

This beautiful, private, lake property, with 3 buildings that added so much to the experience, was perfect for kids, adults and 2 dogs! Lots to do on the water , kayaking, swimming, ;lots of sea glass to find and great fishing off the boat house dock, The house has charm and comfort as well as everything we needed. We did bring a couple of extra fans and our own coffee machine, other than that the house was well stocked with bedding, towels, cute-kitchen with everything you would need. Also a washer and dryer was an added bonus . A great family friendly place where family memories were made! We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Hidden gem with a few caveats

The location was undeniably the best part of this rental. We spent a majority of our time outside on the private beach, which offered plenty of space for our extended family of 10 to spread out and enjoy kayaking, fishing and just relaxing by the lake together. It was a true slice of paradise, and with close proximity to the state parks and Ithaca there was plenty to do away from the house when we wanted to change things up. The house itself was well-maintained with a few updates in the bathrooms and kitchen and loaded with plenty of outdoor space to sit and play a game or enjoy the views of the lake with your morning coffee. The primary bedroom provided plenty of space. The guest bedrooms were a bit cramped and smaller than expected, providing little storage or space beyond a bed. Small box fans were present in each room which provided plenty of airflow during our time. However, The lack of air conditioning could pose a challenge during a warm spell as we learned on our last night. A mini split on the second floor is recommended. Water pressure was also a bit inconsistent in some of the bathrooms. The beach house was an excellent addition that offered additional space for our family though it was in need of a little maintenance. Overall, the experience was great. The host was highly responsive and incredibly receptive to our feedback. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again.
