The cabin is very clean and stocked with everything one should need. We enjoyed our little winter getaway. Nice knowing the hosts are on the property if we needed anything. Plan on booking again for another season. Highly recommend.

What a great place to stay. The cabin was clean and very nice. The view of the lake and the sunset were amazing. We even managed to find a few pieces of sea glass on the beach. Would 100% stay here again.

a very beautiful cabin for family trips or for couples, the host made sure there was enough of everything for each person and that we would not need much upon arrival. The lake tops it all off it is such a beautiful sight and you even have a clear view of the lake from the cabin.

This place was very charming and pleasant, even on a chilly, cloudy Halloween day. It was pet friendly, comfortable beds, well stocked and organized, and nicely decorated. The outside yard and campfire area, as well as the porch, were also great. We would definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was equipped for all cooking needs. Our Labrador retriever felt at home, which was comforting, and loved the hikes and swimming in Lake Erie. The cottage was immaculate.

My family and I had a great stay at this cottage. Property is absolutely beautiful and is as advertised. We especially enjoyed the lake view and evening campfires overlooking the lake. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

You won’t want to leave….

HFS quite possibly one of the best weekend experiences I’ve ever had. Perfect in every way. A lot of effort went into creating a most perfect environment to just hang out and unwind. 10/10 doesn’t even adequately convey how pleased I am with the cottage and view etc. amazing. Just amazing.

Lovely cabin in a great location. Everything you need is there and close to many beautiful places.

Relaxing, enjoyable, clean and comfortable. Would love to go again, but sadly it’s booked for all of next years summer months. Very popular indeed!

David was great! Had a wonderful time! Always wanted to see a frozen Lake Erie. It didn't disappoint. When we first entered the cottage we were in awe. So woodsy, clean, not cluttered. Close to restaurants and shops. Close to the highway. Easy to get in and out. Make sure you follow David's directions. Chautauqua Creek fed into Lake Erie beside us and was amazing. A little disappointed some restaurants were closed for the winter but understand. Great long weekend! Will be back!!!

Our getaway cottage

What a great cabin! We had a great time, it was the end of February and cold and the cabin was nice and cozy warm. Very well appointed, anything and everything you would ever need is in the kitchen. We did get to walk on a frozen Lake Erie and took many pictures. We were in the area to see our kids and grandkids and this was the perfect getaway from their everyday craziness. We did get to meet Dave and his dogs when we arrived and he was very nice and made sure to make us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

Winter Wonderland Getaway!

The location on Lake Erie was just what we had hoped for. Driftwood Cottage was perfect for my husband and I with plenty of space. It was warm, clean and inviting just as the photos showed. David, the host, was helpful as needed and quick to reply. Thank you and we would definitely stay again if we have the opportunity!
