This was a great location for our ski getaway – about 500' from the gondola and 600’ from the NPOA hot tubs! (FYI, the rec center charges $10/person/day circa 2023.) And the unit had plenty of space for our off-property friends to join us for dinner in the evenings.
The unit is a good value for money, but that comes at the expense of some dated furnishings and appliances. Notably, the refrigerator was quite noisy when running and the heater made a very loud BANG BANG BANG BANG every time the fan started up - to the extent that it woke us up from sleep several times the first night.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but we would not return until the clanky heater and noisy refrigerator are fixed, ideally along with some other updates.
Otherwise, the unit had been serviced before we checked in, but not very thoroughly. There were debris on the carpet (retainer rubber bands?), only one set of trash bags/paper towels/dishwasher detergent in the kitchen (the check-in guide promised two), and insufficient linens throughout (no spare bath towels, kitchen towels, sheets, or pillowcases). We only used the queen bed but would’ve been in trouble if we’d been a party of 4 checking in at 8pm. Many dishes/pans were still visibly dirty/greasy, but they can’t be expected to wash everything so be prepared if you’re planning to cook.
The property management company was very cheerful and gracious when contacted, providing spare linens and kitchen supplies within a few hours of us reaching out, but overall they seemed a little overworked. The check-in/check-out materials didn't seem tailored to this property (for instance, the section on where to leave the trash was just blank, including on the binder left in the unit), and they sometimes gave incorrect information in our pre-trip correspondence (the unit does have a blender… but it was dirty enough we decided not to use it).
