House was nice, clean, and inviting. Instructions about the house and amenities were very clearly stated and printed out to follow. Maybe a couple of plastic/rubber spatulas for the pans would be great, but otherwise a very nice experience.

Nice, but……

Great place, but no A/C. We were there in July and it was unreasonable hot in the upstairs bedrooms to the point of not being able to sleep. The fans provided were adorable, but not enough to make a dent with keeping the air circulated. Keep this in mind during the summer, it will be HOT in that house and unbearable. Also, it would have been nice to be notified that there is a “fee” to use the pool/fitness area. $10.00 per person per day and another $2.00 for a towel.

Vacas Management ruined our stay, does not care about customers

House was not cleaned upon arrival, Vacasa had us move to another house (unpacked, packed and unpacked kids to stay at other place, got to sleep finally at 2AM). Next day, asked several times when original house would be clean, no word, we weren't able to ski as planned, person texted me saying they would let me know, after hours of waiting, I let them know we would just stay at the house they moved us too since we needed to go out (it was 1:30pm already and we had grabbed our things at the other house after 11am and saw no one there cleaning). Vacasa rep texted me that would be fine and they would let the local team know. 4pm got a call that we needed to move out to first house due to someone checking in to current house. Went back to house and found the people who had rented went in to the house and out of anger shattered our electronics. Had to work with the police who told me the irate renters had even called them. Vacasa had no compassion for us, just kept asking if we had left, told me that the other Vacasa person didn't have authority to tell us we could stay there. Then gave small credit saying that they did us a favor to move us for one night to another house and the one night stay house was more expensive. Weekend was ruined with kids being scared that someone would break in, cops coming over for a statement, moving houses all due to mis comms and poor customer service by Vacasa. Owner and renters beware.

Great location

Wonderful location on the Northstar shuttle line. House was as described. Kitchen was well stocked and dining table was large enough for both families. Just note, no master suite. Hot tub was sparkling clean and we used it every night after long ski days. We would stay again!

New clean cabin near slopes

The house was clean and had good amenities. Location is great, on the northstar shuttle route. Minor complaints are that there was not enough hand soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, recycling bin, towels. Not a huge deal, just slightly inconvenient. I also did not get a response on an early check in request until a day after our arrival. Other than that, I would recommend the cabin. Just bring your own amenities.

Nice house has lots of potential

Nice vacation rental with lots of modern updated and quality items throughout the house. We weren't able to use the hot tub during our stay. Location is great, very peaceful neighborhood. Some maintenance and cleaning issues that can be easily improved. Great quality for price.

Summer Stay

Overall the home was per the listing and photos. Unfortunately the private hot tub was locked which was not clearly identified in the listing (per the listing only public pools, hot tubs and beaches may have had covid closures). Vacasa was not great with communication, one of the upstairs bathroom glass shower doors was off of its rolling hinges. Vacasa responded they would have the local maintenance staff reach out to fix. We never heard from them... The guest cards are outdated so it is difficult to access trash area and community center parking...

Beautiful home and location, with some management issues.

This is a beautiful home in an excellent location, convenient to the Northstar shuttle line with fast Wifi and a well-outfitted kitchen. (Sharp knives, good cookware, nice wine glasses and plenty of everything.) Lovely to sit in the hot tub and look out on the snow. There were some issues however. The dishwasher and coffee maker were both broken when we arrived (with a "do not use" sign on dishwasher) , and although we communicated right away, it was late the next afternoon before someone came by to fix the dishwasher, and we did not get a replacement coffee maker until after 4pm the next day, despite being promised that the manager would come by in the morning. After the dishwasher repairman rooted around and made a mess of water all over the floor in the kitchen, he said it appeared it was never broken to begin with. So a bit of a headache for no real reason. (Not to mention a morning with no coffee.) Towards the end of our stay, we were interested in staying an additional night and rather than let us know it was not possible, the property manager just never answered any of my messages on the app or by text. Trying to call Vacasa main line resulted in an endless cycle of being on hold. So not great service or communication, but overall a nice stay.

Excellent location.

We enjoyed our stay, we had a relatively minor issue with a bed frame when we arrived. However, Tony the local property manager was on it in a snap! It is a bit dated in the layout and structure but, the updated remodel makes for a pleasant stay.

Perfect location!

This place is awesome and comfy. A group of 5 adults enjoyed our weekend getaway to mountain bike at nearby Northstar. We literally rode our bikes to Northstar and back via the trail head that is just across the street! Perfect mountain bike location! We will be back next season.

Beautiful property

This was a very nice home decorated with lovely furnishings - very much like I would decorate. It was clean and the check in process was simple. The kitchen knives actually cut! :) If I were to make any improvements The chairs around the dining table aer not very comfortable and the hot tub had a green color and smelled funny. I reached about it but did not hear from anyone. We added the appropriate chemicals we found but it did not clear up the issue. That was a bummer because our kids did not want to go in the whole week and I specifically looked for a property with a hot tub. Other than that, it was great and I would stay there again. Thanks!

Cute cabin in nice neighborhood

It’s a cute updated cabin in Northstar area. We were very disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working and not clean (it should be taken off the listing) also it would be great to have blinds on all the windows in bedrooms so they’re not so bright. In the summer it would be nice to have fans to plug in since it’s hot in the bedrooms at night.

Great location and house. Property Management had poor service.

Overall the house was in a great location and as advertised. Was not pleased with Vacasa property management. Terrible customer support when trying to call or message them. Hot tub was light green, no card for the Rec center or garbage dump. Terrible notes on what to expect at the Rec Center during COVID 19 times. No awareness of advanced reservation needed at Rec center or the website to make a reservation.

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The owners could definitely clean the hot tub, and make sure that the amenities listed in their contract are actually available. We were supposed to have access to the resort but the card was missing. Hopefully we don’t get charged for the missing card. We also had no way of contacting anyone but the website.....
