Clean and comfortable property, provided exactly what they promised and served as a great base for our holiday skiing trip. Having multiple living areas to hang out in was fun and we appreciated the garage area for our ski equipment. Wish I could be there in the summer time to enjoy the deck and beautiful forest! Thanks!

Winter getaway

Fun time with our daughter who works in the area. House was well kept, slightly older style with a cabin feel. Beautiful trees out the back. Note that the pool and hot tub are at the shared neighborhood recreation center a good drive from the property.

Friends trip out West

We enjoyed our stay. It was difficult at times to open and lock the door. We needed 2 people . One to hold the door to latch the other to press code. Thank you for providing us a place to rest our heads, enjoy meals together and enjoy God’s beautiful creations in the state of California.

Great house

The house was excellent - clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We did run into an issue with the dashwasher not working, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. We will plan to stay here again if we're able.

Spacious and comfortable

This is our 2nd year renting this property for a girls trip. Spacious and comfortable for 5 women. We will stay again. There were a couple of issues on check in that were addressed right away, the property manager was very responsive. They didn’t have any dish soap (only dishwasher soap) which I think was an oversight but other than that the house is very well appointed and the kitchen was stocked with spices, olive oil, and just about any kind of utensil you could imagine. Plenty of fans, extra linens, etc. Easy check out too.

Family ski house

The house is as advertised. It was clean upon arrival. The kitchen has what you need to make family dinner - it’s a bit overwhelming in terms of the amount of dishes/stuff but the essentials (and more) are all there including salt/pepper, oil, sugar. The views from the living room are stunning. If you’ve got kids of any age, the best part is the well stocked family game room and videos/dvds in a room visible from the LR with doors that close! The bathrooms were clean but not updated. All in all, an excellent house for a family ski weekend.

Great place for a weekend getaway!

This place is totally beyond our expectation! Everything is sparkling clean and the amenities are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there and this place totally deserves a five-star!

This is a very nice property. I am most impressed about a really well equipped kitchen, videos, TV in every room, etc. Several minor issues: (1) only one car can park in a two car garage, (2) no light in the garage, (3) on the second day, the entry code to the door did not work, we had to call the office to use the lock box key. Other than these, everything else are super. I would consider picking this particular property next time I to go Tahoe.

Wow! What a fantastic home!

I’ve been renting vacation homes in Tahoe Donner for several years with my kids, and this home was one of the most well appointed of them all. The kitchen was a dream with an espresso maker, a gas cook top and big island in which to prep meals. The cabin was incredibly clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for the adults and teens given there is upstairs loft/TV room and a separate game room off of the great room. The peaceful deck offered a quiet, private view of the pines and was the perfect setting for morning coffee and evening dinners. The location was central to the amenities of Tahoe Donner and a short drive to Donner Lake. I would rent this cabin again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful house - even better than expected

We really enjoyed our stay here - the house has absolutely everything you could need, likely enough to host a small wedding reception. Lots of space, lovely design without the kitsch you sometimes find in upscale rentals. Was flawlessly clean when we got there.

This was a great Family home to spend some quality time in Tahoe Donner!

My family loved the home in Truckee. My wife and I loved the master bedroom with connecting bathroom. My 2 year old and 11 month old shared the kids room which was spacious for them as well as for me when I had to help put them to bed. My 10 year old and 12 year old daughter shared the other bed upstairs out of choice and loved the comfort of the bed. Upstairs TV room was perfect for the older girls to watch their shows whenever they wanted. Downstairs was very big and comfortable. The kitchen was overlooked the dinning room and living room which was so big and comfortable. Off to the side was another big "kid room" with TV and plenty of board games and chalk board for the family to enjoy. There was another comfortable bedroom and bathroom on this floor that helped with everyone. But the focus was on the great big windows that lead out to the deck. The deck was great and the trees helped blend in the forest and kept the other cabins out of sight. I tried to BBQ as many nights as possible as the deck brought the family outside for great dinners. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the cabin and would return next summer if so lucky! Thank you

Family Vacation

This home is beautiful! Very comfortable, every amenity you could need, very clean. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. However, property managers did not follow through with requests. The microwave and washing machine didn’t work. Was told crews would be at the house to investigate. They never came, even after multiple text conversations.
