A very nice property that accommodated our large family for a skiing vacation. The location is very convenient to Tahoe ski resorts, and to town activities and dining. The furnishings and finishes are great. Some care in cleaning needed, there was considerable dust/cobwebs on high surfaces that should be addressed (exhaust fan vents in bathrooms are filthy). The owners should also assure snow/ice buildup at entry stairways is cleared, it’s unacceptable to have a 3” layer of ice buildup at the only access point into the house upon arrival (we were never given a garage door code to use). Parking is challenging for large vehicles, learn to backup a steep narrow hill driveway. We had an issue with use of the Tahoe Donner amenities they advertise, the owners had not registered their property for short term rental guests use. The management company indicated they were working the issue, I’d confirm before booking if that’s something of interest you have.

This home is absolutely beautiful—stunning and thoughtfully appointed in every detail. The host was incredibly welcoming, and the check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house had every amenity we could possibly need, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The location is perfect—just minutes from historic downtown Truckee, with convenient access to both Tahoe and Reno. It’s an ideal home for a large family, offering plenty of communal space to gather while still providing private areas for quiet relaxation. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property!

Very nice home for large groups or families. Having three legit master bedrooms was a very nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and kitchen gadgets. Hot tub and bbq worked great. Two minor critiques: the downstairs to upstairs is a loft-type design so noise carries, and pool access was in the listing but not actually available for short term guests according to the pool staff. Even if there is a work-around for the pool passes, the pool/resort fee is 24/person - not viable for a large group.

Dental School Golf Buddies

Reunion of dentists who first met in 1980 @ OHSU Dental.We enjoyed Three rounds of golf, Old Greenwood, Grizzly Ranch, and Coyote Moon. The house was perfect as everyone had their own room and bathroom. The driveway was a bit tricky to back down. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking your our meals. I would rent again!

Nice place, a couple small things to improve

Lovely place! We really enjoyed it overall. A couple quick notes on things to be improved:1) Would be good to have a recycling receptacle somewhere in the kitchen and more blue recycling bags for the outdoor bear box. We didn't have enough for our recycling.2) The path to the hot tub needs some way to prevent slipping, the ice there is treacherous!3) Knives in kitchen were not sharp—sharp knives would be great.

WWB Golf Trip

This was a well appointed, clean and spacious property in a great location. Sleeping arrangements were wonderful. Excellent and prompt communication with property management, they went above and beyond! Only comment is there were more stairs than expected.

Wonderful trip!

We visited as a group of 14 women celebrating a friend for the weekend. The house was beautiful and there was more than enough space for all of us. Plenty of plates, cutlery, and cooking items for us to eat meals together. There were only 12 seats around the table, but lots of room for more and some other barstool height seats at the kitchen island, but if you have a group of more than 12 you may want to bring a folding chair (We brought two and it worked great!). The owner/property manager was very prompt in responding to all of our questions. We would love to return!

Beautiful Home!

Such a wonderful, modern home for our group of friends to stay for a long weekend. The bedrooms and bathrooms are generously sized, the kitchen is perfect for a large group and the hot tub and sauna were a hit after a long day on the slopes. A few very minor fixes to make the stay even better - hooks to hang towels outside at the hot tub, and shelves in the bedroom closets (since there are no dressers) to put away clothing so we aren't living out of our suitcases. We can't wait to return again next year!

Beautiful & Spacious

We had a great time! Big bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of kitchen space. It was only 25 minutes to the Palisades. Lots of extra blankets and beds as well.

Tahoe Family Gathering

The home was perfect for our extended family gathering for a fun ski and snow play weekend. The bedrooms are spacious and very clean and plenty of beds for everyone. The dining table can be opened to seat 12 comfortably and the kitchen is large and well stocked with dishes and cookware to make all our meals. During our stay, it snowed overnight and we were concerned with snow accumulating on the driveway but it looked like the driveway may be heated since no snow was on the driveway. Also the snowplow came early morning to clear the driveway so we were able to get in and out of the home without any problems. Everyone enjoyed the time spent together in this wonderful home. We will definitely come back again.

Long weekend stay

Overall, the house is great. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. Very nice kitchen table that holds 14 easily. We had 10 adults and 4 young kids in our group and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Multiple balconies and the main master steam shower was a nice bonus. The listing was a bit confusing as it says in multiple places the house is large enough for 16 people. However after we booked, the property manager said the max number of people regardless of age is 14. Any person over that is subject to extra charges per day. My group ended up being 14, but originally we had 12 adults and 5 small children planned. The management company said they would “work with me” on charges, but it seemed a little ridiculous to charge extra money for a 3 and 4 yr old child. The management company was also insistent that 2 vehicles park in the garage. The space does NOT fit a full size truck (Crew cab, short bed Silverado). The driveway is large and we were able to fit outside just fine. The kitchen silverware only had a place setting for 8. VERY inconvenient to constantly wash forks! Also, there are only 12 chairs. There are stools for the island, but our whole group wasn’t able to sit around the table. There would have been plenty of room had there been enough chairs. LOTS OF STAIRS!!! The entire inside is hardwood. Nice decor, but as there is a no shoe rule for the house, little kids in socks around all the stairs is nerve wracking. Outdoor stairs also get icy.

Great house for work retreat

We came up on a work retreat/ski trip. Everyone had a very nice stay in the house. The house is great for a larger group, and the kitchen is particularly well setup for socializing while cooking. Would definitely stay there again!

Clean& spacious house

We spent 4 days at this house with family. Property manager quick and easy to communicate with. House was very clean and welcoming. Amazing kitchen with big dining table, perfect for big family gathering. Convenient rooms with comfortable beds and a lot of extra folding beds and mattresses. Will definitely recommend and come back.

30th birthday celebration

We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday with our family and friends. This house was the perfect set up, giving privacy to all couples! The driveway was narrow, but didn’t cause us any issues. The house was very clean and in a great location. The kitchen supplies were very limited, but we made do! The house was just as advertised and we had the best time!
