Beautiful home, everything you would need for a great vacation. Loved that the kitchen was stocked with high end appliance's, pots and pans and pantry staples. The game room was a big hit, with everything in great working order. The fire pit on the deck was a bonus, since there was no snow:( We used it daily.All the beds were very comfortable. there were plenty of towels etc.We would definitely stay again

We’ve stayed at this home many times over the years, which probably says everything you need to know. It’s an incredible property and consistently one of our favorite places to stay.David is a fantastic host—an excellent communicator, very responsive, and extremely detail-oriented. Everything is always well organized and the entire experience, from booking to checkout, is seamless.The location is ideal for skiing with easy access to the village. The layout of the home is perfect for families—the downstairs game room gives the kids their own space, while the upstairs kitchen and living area create a great gathering spot for adults.We truly can’t say enough good things about this place. There’s a reason we keep coming back, and we’re already booked for next year!

Wonderful house. We had a family ski week and enjoyed the home. Lots of space for everyone, with private bedrooms. Fantastic kitchen. Easy slope access and we lucked out with perfect snow. David was easy and quick to communicate with. I'd return again.

What an amazing experience. David is an excellent host who bends over backwards to not only keep you informed, but to assist you when needed. The house itself cannot be described except to say WOW!!!. It starts with being 1 mile from the parking lot at Northstar Village which by itself is convenient. Then add in the size and spaciousness of the house and you can bring the entire family and still have room. The kitchen is well stocked with the basic cooking amenities, so you really don't need to bring anything. The bedrooms are huge and so comfortable. All the bathrooms are stocked with towels, bathrobes, and necessary items for showering, or soaking in the tubs. The downstairs area is perfect for the kids and teens, while the living room upstairs is perfect for adults. Relaxing on the deck is a treat, and the firepit will keep you nice and warm. For those cold days, the fireplace will keep the entire house at the perfect temperature so you don't have to worry about being cold. As a courtesy, there are lanyards that will get you into the fitness center at Northstar, so if you want to swim or work out, there is the option. To finish a workout you can relax in the hot tub on the lower deck which has a forest view and is perfect on a cold day. Overall, I cannot say enough about this location, and plan on using it again in the future. What an enjoyable vacation.

What a beautiful home! We had 10 adults and 11 kids, spent our days at the lakes and hiking, coming back to David’s place each evening was perfect.Y’all - how many times have you been in a rental and tried to work an appliance or something and had to google for 30 minutes just to make popcorn or turn off a ceiling fan?!?Not here. There were helpful tips, instructions, and guides everywhere. There was a damn YouTube video on how to turn on the whole-house fan… it was amazing.Communication was quick and easy - going to come back in the winter time, can’t imagine how magical this place is during ski season.

Fun for the whole family

This house was perfect for our family (ages 3 months to 78) getaway. We had fun hiking around Tahoe and spending evenings downstairs in the game room. Hours of fun around the card table playing blackjack while others played pool, chess, shuffleboard, and all the other many games they have. Dinners were easy either bbqing outside or cooking in the spacious kitchen. The kitchen was fully stocked, had an extra refrigerator in the garage and another small fridge in the kitchen for drinks. The house was very spacious for 8 adults and four young ones under 4. I don’t think we’ve ever stayed in a home this stocked and equipped. Dave was very easy to work with and always answered my questions quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

The greatest rental property on Silver Fox line

Awesome property, large enough for extended family. Close to slopes. Comes with perfect hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, 4 large suites, plus extra pull out couch , pack & play for toddlers & the greatest playroom . Immaculately clean. Owner Dave was always available to cater to our needs & requests . Everyone agreed it was simply perfect house away from our house. Outstanding property!

I sent 8 of our Leadership team members to Tahoe for a 3 day strategy meeting. They could not stop raving about how wonderful the house was and the space was perfect for them to work hard and unwind and relax in the evenings. They ate at few of the local restaurants recommended by the owner and were very pleased. I would definitely book this house again. Thank you David for your hospitality and sharing your home for others to enjoy.

Wonderful family house

50th Anniversary Celebration

One of the best vacations ever!

This was the perfect house for our 3 families and 1 set of grandparents as each group was able to have their own private space and bathroom. The common area was great for all 17 of us. Kitchen was well appointed for large group cooking. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area and had each and every meal on the deck. When the kids were done, they simply went to the lower deck to play the various outdoor games when the adults relaxed upstairs. A warning: Primary bedroom has one of those high beds. If you are short, you may not be able get into it.....especially if you just had knee surgery! This house definetly enable us to have a very nice and memorable vacation. Thank you, David.

Another Fantastic Stay

This marks our fifth time renting this home, and it continues to exceed expectations. Everything, from communicating with the homeowners to the smooth arrival process, is fantastic. The property is ideal for accommodating large groups, with the added bonus of a sled hill behind the house. Plus, access to the Northstar base is conveniently just a stroll down the road (ski down to a lift) or a quick 5-minute bus ride away, with the bus stop conveniently located right in front of the house. We've already secured our booking for 2025 and highly recommend this home.

Great place but ask for the rules

This is a great location and beautiful house but the rules are a bit much. For example, don't chop anything except on the cutting board. If you use the grill on the stove, it needs to be as clean as when you got there which is fine but they don't provide the proper cleaning materials to clean a grill.

Incredible stay for the entire family

We created amazing family memories here. We arrived in a snowstorm and Dave came and shoveled everything himself to make sure we didn’t have to worry about it. He was super communicative and helpful. We enjoyed all of amenities this place has to offer. We were with a group of 13 and everyone had their own space. A+ can’t wait to come back!
