Beautiful home very comfortable However, had problem with hot water heater not working on check out morning. And not enough towels And dishwasher did not work entire stay. This was a BIG Problem! 4 of 6 guests did not get to shower and had to fly home without having a shower! Unacceptable! I need a refund for at least for one day because of shower and dishwasher not working!

Fantastic house! Really loved the huge back patio and lots of outdoor furniture and seating. Spacious and well equipped kitchen made staying in and cooking at home much more enjoyable. Very quiet and love how the back of the house opens into a hillside full of trees.
Awesome patio with lots of comfy seats.
Perfect spot for a hot tub.

Brief stay in a wonderful setting!

This log cabin can't be beat! Spacious, warm, and welcoming. Large deck with a grill and hot tub, and a beautiful interior.

Relaxing and Spotless Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Tahoe Donner. It was close to everything we wanted and needed. The home was very clean and organized. The rental company was extremely helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. The check in and check out process was easy. There were a couple of things that we wish we had known prior to staying there, but nothing that would impact this review. Overall it was a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it.

GOT SNOW?!?! We had enough for a lifetime!

Our family had an incredible time and enough snow for a lifetime! After we got in town, which was about four hours before the historic snow storm Orzelle hit, we saw constant heavy snow fall for 5 days and almost constant blizzard conditions with snow totals of seven plus feet. There was so much snow during our stay that we could not even see out of the family room/kitchen doors! We literally had a snow wall that we formed around the hot tub and made a small trail out of one of the doors on to the deck to get to the hot tub. It was crazy, but we loved every minute of it! The home was so cozy, clean, the hot tub was fantastic, and we were able to make wonderful memories as a family. The only one issue that we had was that we could have used one of the two snowblowers to enable ourselves to leave the home at our will. We had to wait for the plow to come or we even had to shovel ourselves out one morning to get to Northstar to ski. We don't mind shoveling, but with the incredible amount of snow we received (which was in feet), one of the two snowblowers should have been working and definitely would of been a huge help! My husband tried for over an hour with the neighbor next door to get one of them running with no success. So, the gas we purchased before trying to get them started ended up not getting used. Other than that inconvenience, we loved our accommodations and will always remember our stay in Truckee at Lodgepole.

Quiet Mountain Getaway

A beautiful and peaceful vacation cabin. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Relaxing on the deck with the forest view was so relaxing. The property management company always answered their phones and was great to work with. Would highly recommend!

Upon arrival the main floor bathroom was not clean & the kitchen/dining room floors were not clean. Called the property manager to correct the situation. It took 4 phone calls and 3 days before the cleaners came out to finish the cleaning. Other than the above, the location, house, were good. The kitchen was wel equipped. back deck was nice and it was nice to be able to use the garage.

Beautiful house

The house was beautiful and very clean. The property manager was very responsive. The amenities at Tahoe Donner are also great and would recommend anybody to take advantage (there is a cost attached to using the amenities but it is worth the cost since you can use them all day long).

Truckee Log House

This is a beautiful home, with spacious common areas. The back deck is large and offers several types of seating with big umbrellas for shade. Behind the home is a very pretty wooded area that feels like you’re a long way from other houses, even though they are nearby. Very quiet, very comfortable.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!

The property/house is an immaculate luxery log cabin/house! It is extremely cozy and cute, and very updated. The layout is wonderful with a very large kitchen. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are very clean and updated. We absolutely loved this place! We did not even get to use the hot tub as we were in a bit of a storm, but it was there if we wanted to! The management company was great! The check in and out details were clear and easy. They were easy to get a hold of for any questions you may have. We will stay here again for sure! This house is an absolutely gem!!! Sincerely, Vijay

Perfect family home for Lake Tahoe vacation

We LOVED LOVED this gorgeous perfect home. Our 2 adult children and spouses had ample room- everyone had king beds and each had own bathroom- it was perfect! The patio is wonderful and open living room was wonderful for our family. Kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of supplies! Quiet location and easy drive to Tahoe city and incline village! Overall just a PERFECT PERFECT play to stay!! Also loved utilizing the Tahoe Donner pool and gym while we were there! The check in process great!! Thank you!! We hope to come back again soon!

Great Stay in Truckee

Overall, this place was absolutely amazing. The home is gorgeous and very roomy. The management company was easy to work with and very responsive. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. However, I will mention just a couple of things for the next people that stay just to give you guys a heads up. - The kitchen is well - equipped, but I could not find a single sharp knife. Would recommend to bring your own if possible. - The management company does NOT provide cleaning rags or kitchen towels. The ONLY available towels are the pure white and very luxurious bath towels. They are lovely, but if you enjoy cooking as much as we do, kitchen towels and rags are a must have, would recommend to bring your own. I did ask the management company if they provided them when I realized there were none, and they said it just 'isn't something they provide in their homes'. That being said, we had a phenomenal time and would highly highly recommend staying here. It was very awesome.
