This was just about the best experience we’ve ever had renting a summer vacation rental. The house was clean, with plenty of decent towels, and a very nicely equipped kitchen, including good knives. We’ve done enough rentals that we actually bring our own, because they’re usually dull. The house was also well-stocked with toilet paper, laundry supplies, trash bags, etc. This does not always happen. We were a party of 10 adults and 4 pre-teen kids. The kids loved the air hockey, pingpong, and foosball, along with lots of other games and toys. We adults practically lived on the deck. It’s so nice! The master bedroom is extra nice with its own bathroom and deck. The whole house is roomy and comfortable.

Great vacation home for large families!

We had a wonderful stay here at this cabin. The house had a lot of space and fit our needs well. The layout of the house gave everyone (8 of us) space to move around and be comfortable. The house has all the things you would need and plenty of games, VHS movies, DVDs, toys, and very cute dress up clothes. The garage was a helpful dropping ground for all the outdoor stuff and also had an overflow fridge. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of serving dishes, and containers, plates, glassware, and appliances. We did have access to some of the amenities of the HOA with the 6 STR (Short-term Rental) Passes. We used them for the Beach Club Marina, and the Pool. During the 4th of July holiday we needed to make reservations in advance and pay the day use fees. But nothing was guaranteed as members have priority. Parking at the marina was only for members but there was plenty of free street parking.Overall everyone loved the house and didn't want to leave. And everything was clean.The only things that need some TLC were the bbq grates/inside, the ceiling fan chains were disconnected In the guest rooms on main level, and some of the pans/pots are warped.Thanks for letting us stay and your wonderful home. We enjoyed every minute of it, and appreciated the care you put into the home to make sure it had everything one would need. It was family ready. We would definitely stay here again.

Love this house!

We get together annually with college friends and their families. This house holds all of us comfortably. The atmosphere of the house is so inviting and the beds are super comfy. The teens love the foosball table and air hockey table. The hosts are super nice and great with communication. I highly recommend this house! We plan to stay here again next year.

Great large family get away.

We stayed at this well equipped home in Tahoe Donner with our 2 daughters and their families, 3 couples and 3 kids, ages 3,6 and 6 It was spacious with great ability to relax and enjoy time together as well as separate area for kids to play. Wish there was a bit more snow because the area out back was great for snow play. We had no issues during our stay, but communication with owners before hand was great.

Great location some of us enjoyed skiing some used Tahoe donner rec center others stayed home and used the hot tub. House had air hockey foosball and ping pong table with lots of extra ping pong balls (usually at most rentals they have just a few or none brought our own and didn’t need them) completely satisfied fun for the whole family

Family vacation

This spacious home is well set up for a large family with all ages. We truly enjoyed our stay. The home had all the infant equipment needed, children’s toys, and spaciousness for our whole family. Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation spot in a beautiful area!

Even better the second time around!

This was our second stay at this fantastic home. It has been beautifully updated and we loved every minute of our visit. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the kids had a great time with all the toys and costumes. The owners have paid attention to all the details that make a house a home. We will be back!

Fantastic family friendly Donner home

We stayed here with two other families. The layout of the house was excellent and it’s so family friendly. The game room, lots of toys and fun stuff for all ages was appreciated. The teens wanted to bunk together and we loved the extra futons that could be brought into the different rooms. Kitchen was updated, nice and big for several people to work in at once and was very well stocked. Andrea was super communicative and thoughtful in letting us know the house was ready for check in early. Easy Tahoe Donner location that is close to everything. Overall a great stay and I would definitely recommend.

Wonderful home for families!

We had a fantastic weekend at this home. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful. We appreciated having the downstairs rec and playroom spaces for the kids ages 4 to 16 to enjoy! The treasure box of costumes was a huge hit! Everyone was comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and oven and stove great. We highly recommend this house for groups especially with kids. Having two garage spaces for parking was key with the snow!

Great house and location

This is a great house, very well stocked and the best toys in the playroom and game room. We all had a wonderful time. The only reason for one star off is because of the holiday and we could not get a response on the snow plowing. The plowing company was supposed to come when it snowed and they did not. Since we left before the big storm we could get out of the driveway with our all wheel drive cars. Suggest info on the snowplow company be in the handbook so guests can reach them. But this was a very minor issue.

Best Thanksgiving!

Fun times here for all 9 of us at Thanksgiving, plenty of room for us all and perfect location for a family gathering. Andrea was quick to answer questions and we were lacking absolutely nothing during our stay here. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and the extra refrigerator really came in handy for all of the food. My 3 year old grandson took over the (on-site) snow sleds as his 2 cousins showed him how to navigate the hill behind the house. How convenient! When the boys weren't sledding they were busy with Foos Ball or Air Hockey or Ping Pong. The neighbors were super friendly and told us all about the neighborhood. Traffic on the street was nil, very safe. One nice amenity was being able to watch TV without using a Firestick or ROKU. It was so convenient to just turn on the TV and select a channel! We hated to leave here, but really look forward to a return trip.

Family Time in Truckee

This was the 4th year that my family stayed in this home and it's always fantastic. We enjoyed swimming at Donner Lake and Tennis at the Truckee River Regional Park, but that was a bonus. This home has everything you need to relax and enjoy the family without going anywhere. Games, air hockey, dress up clothes for the kids, hot tub and the perfect deck for an outdoor movie on the "big screen." And each year we look forward to seeing the new upgrades that the owners have completed. There's nothing like making memories with the grandchildren---everyone is already looking forward to next year!!
