Family Gathering

Very nice property in a great neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools etc. Beds were comfortable and plenty of extra bedding and towels. Minor problem was noise flows from lower level living area up to upper living area so separate activities weren't so separate. Also, fireplace remote in upper level didn't work correctly -- had to turn on the fireplace with a chopstick at the wall. Also, it could only go on full blast which triggered the heater to go off in all rooms due to thermostat being near that fireplace. The lower level fireplace worked very well from the thermostat. A very nice property with only a few issues that didn't affect our visit very much.

Great Place and Spacious

This cabin was a perfect getaway for my fiancé's 30th birthday. It was perfect for a few couples and would be great for a family. Plenty of space, great location and really comfortable. Will definitely consider coming back!

Exceeded expectations

A five day respite with family who enjoyed the chess setup in the family room, very roomy for 7 adults and two children. Super comfortable downstairs living and bedroom area. Guest passes for access to the recreation area was a nice perk. Garage parking was appreciated. Kitchen was adequately stocked. All in all a lovely stay.

Great weekend get away!

I had a great weekend get away with my friends. The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy with the big down comforters, the kitchen was fully stocked to make dinner no problem. Only 2 small issues: the driveway was pretty icy, not a problem for the 4 wheel cars but we had to really shovel to get the sedans up. And we filled the bear-box full of trash by day 2. Just texted the turn key number and within an hour they helped us out to make sure the excess trash was taken out correctly. Definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful Truckee Property

This property is beautiful, spacious and designed for all ages to enjoy. Even without snow as we had hoped, the views from living room windows and balcony were stunning! There were board games and other activities available for kids to engage in. We also hung out and played outside around the property. The only issue we ran into was the pet hair on furniture and through out the house. I’m not sure if it was from a previous guest or the owners have pets but for those of us who were allergic to pet hair, had some allergies during the visit. Overall - great trip!

Great House

Really nice property. The main living area was fantastic. Very nice size great room/kitchen combo. House was well stocked with everyday use items. The downstairs was great for the kiddos. Dual bunk beds, with full or queen bed on the bottom and a twin up tops. The kids very much enjoyed sleeping down there. They also enjoyed learning how to play chess with one another on the game table on location. The washing machine allowed us to clean swimsuits and such after a 1/2 day of hiking and playing in the lake. The huge garages easily fit the two cars we had. They had a garage clicker to borrow during the stay which made using them easy. Very nice location not too far from downtown Truckee. Found a couple of good places to get a beer between the house and the main strip. Really impressive spot overall. One minor negative is that sound traveled easily throughout the house. As such, we were all up with the earliest riser. Voices carried, and those sleeping downstairs were easily awoken be others normally walking around. Probably best not to have light sleepers down there. Also, the two half moon windows in the front/larger "adult" rooms provided beautiful sights, but let too much light in to sleep long. We were up with the sun around 5:00/5:15 am each day, and also had trouble sleeping the night with a full moon. May consider bringing some blankets/trash bags and painters tape with us next time to help block out the light if we are looking to sleep in. Overall, we loved this place and will happily book here again! Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Great place in Truckee

This property was great for a family trip to Truckee. Plenty of room in the house and nice updated bathrooms. It was clean and the property managers were very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Summer vacation

The house is in a great neighborhood and while the house is nicely set up and appointed it needs a deep clean. The floors were filthy and the couch downtowns needs a professional cleaning. The previous guests never put the garbage out and when we called to ask for the day to put the trash out it must have been more than a week since someone put it out as it was overflowing and disgusting. The recycling bin was full of non recyclables and had to be sorted through to put our recycling out for pick up. Things I don’t want to do on vacation. Again the house is nice just needs some cleaning and general maintenance. Thanks

Perfect

House was exactly like shown. It was perfect for our family plus an extra child. The down stairs was perfect for the kids and adults had their own space. Kitchen was well equipped and even had some sauces and basic baking supplies. Kids loved the offering of games especially the chess board.

Started out rough but...

This was our second stay at this cabin. The first time, we were amazed at how clean and organized everything was. This time got off to a rough start... the cabin had not been cleaned by the time we arrived, and it was a mess -- dirty dishes and countertops, no clean bed linens or towels, messy floors, dirty bathrooms, etc. It was rather disgusting, especially in our current "COVID" world! We contacted TurnKey right away and they got on the problem immediately. They apologized profusely for the condition of the cabin and explained someone else (I won't mention who) was supposed to have scheduled the cleaning, but didn't. They sent out cleaners ASAP and cleaned the cabin for us. Then we discovered the dryer motor had blown out (or something like that), and all the towels were still not dry enough for us to use! TurnKey sent someone out ASAP with clean towels. If TurnKey hadn't been so responsive and helpful, our stay would have been a disaster. Thank you, TurnKey! We still like this cabin, though. It is very spacious and comfortable and made a wonderful retreat for Thanksgiving week. The kitchen has *almost* all the essential items (a full set of measuring cups would be wonderful), and the appliances are all up to date and nice to use. We would love to stay here again. The location is quiet and peaceful (one night the backyard neighbors were laughing and screaming outside until after 10:00 PM, but normally it's quiet). Despite the mishaps on this trip, our vacation was lovely and we truly enjoyed our time in Truckee and at this cabin.

Fun birthday weekend!

We've stayed in this cabin before and we really love it. The upgrades to the kitchen are really nice since we were there last. The property was overall really clean. The bedding and towels were very nice. There are quite a few stains on the carpet throughout the home which is the reason for the missing star. The cookware selection/condition was a bit of a disappointment - all of the nonstick pots are old and no longer non-stick and there are only 3 or 4 pots/pans total and none had lids. The coffee pot, kitchen tools, bake ware and cookware could definitely use an overhaul. We were there on a VERY hot weekend so the lack of A/C was a bit unfortunate but we understood that the weather was abnormally hot. The location of the cabin is perfect and the layout is super family friendly. We will definitely be back again (maybe with our own pots/pans - lol).

Beautiful location

Great home, well laid out with a wonderful kitchen that had more than your average kitchen tools!! Big plus for us! If the carpets get a shampoo, I’d give it a 5 star.

Perfect getaway

This house is perfectly laid out and just as described. Beds were comfortable and rooms were conveniently located. There was a ton a space to spread out. Our kids loved the bunk room and the downstairs area. The kitchen was amazing and it had everything we needed. We can’t wait to stay here again!

Daughters ski week

Everything was perfect, the house was exactly what we saw on web sight and booked. Home was everything we had hoped it would be. Blind downstairs bedroom was broken and one light out in master bath but that never detoured our experience at this home. I would highly recommend this home rental but our fear would be they would take dates of our future bookings. We look forward to staying in your home for many more days to come. Thank you again for a wonderful experience for my daughter and myself.

Amazing Mountain Stay
