Beautiful Lake Tahoe Home at the Northstar Resort!

  • Our home is located at Northstar at Lake Tahoe. A five star world renowned resort. The free shuttle Bus stops just in front of our home! Our home has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms one bathroom is upstairs with a shower, the other is a tub with access to toilet area during shower use. Home sleeps 14 comfortably including several couches. There are 2 fireplaces to keep you warm and forced air Heater. Bring sleeping bags for kids to sprawl out on couches & floor. Our home has timeless charm for all

    Our beautiful home will relax you as you walk through the door.

    You and your guests will have access to everything our home has to offer. We have some locks on our pantry items and our owner closets.

    We are available via AIRBNB message and prefer to communicate through the platform however we will also accept txt and phone should you need to use this method . We have another home down the street so usually close by.

    Our home is beautifully positioned so you feel you are by yourself it is very quiet and relaxing. The hill the house is built on is amazing for sledding and hours and days of excitement! There is a small stream that runs through the bottom of our property that runs in the winter. Lots of trails to hike and bike in the summer. We request you keep noise level to a minimum keeping noise from being heard from beyond our property at all times. Quiet times are from 9:00pm-9:00am please respect our neighborhood. All county fines will be charged to guests who violate any rules!

    The Northstar bus stops right at your doorstep and takes you to the ski slope and back home. Once you park there is no reason to get into your car until you depart for home:)
    The bus is currently operating with the Northstar application only.

    Your stay includes guest pass to the exclusive Northstar Recreation Center THE HOT TUB, POOL, SAUNA, WORKOUT FACILITIES ARE AT THE REC CENTER THE REC CENTER IS IN TRANSITION WITH COVID -19 RULES AND REQUIRES RESERVATIONS. INFORMATION REGARDING RESERVATIONS ARE IN THE GUESTBOOK SOME OF THE AMENITIES MIGHT NOT BE AVAILABLE DURING YOUR STAY AND OR MIGHT NEED ADVANCED RESERVATION. With the guest pass admission is only $10 per person and this is the location of 3 year round hot tubs, a lap pool, summer pool, sauna, game room, ping pong, foosball, tennis, basketball, additional kids water plat area, kids jungle climbing video games, you can bring your own beverages and food but no glass..,,,,,,,,Please keep in mind the rec center has limited access because of Covid. Currently the pool is open to a limited amount of people and reservations are required. Hot tubs and Gym are closed. Please contact Northstar Homeowners Rec center or ping me for additional information.

When we booked this property we were excited because we are a family of 13 and this home slept 15Our only worry was only 2 bathrooms. As it turned out this was not a problem at all and the whole trip was a big success We look forward to staying here again.The Fremdling family

We had a wonderful experience, David was a great host, very patient and answered all questions. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was everything that was listed and then some. The views were spectacular! We would definitely stay here again!

The home was in a great location with easy access to the shuttle with use of the app. The views were beautiful and there were enough snow and hills for sledding and building a snowman. The host was responsive. My only complaint was the comfort of the beds, consistency of water temperature, and ability to control the temperature of the cabin to make everyone comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Best VRBO ever!

We had a huge crew and the house was perfect. Most well stocked rental I have ever stayed at, tons of room, lots of beds, everything we needed and more. Great sledding hills behind the house for the kids. Perfect place for families!

Great Location, Cozy Cabin

The cabin was so nice and cozy and it had plenty of room for our entire group. It was also fully stocked with kitchen supplies and various spices. The location was excellent and the free shuttle service was perfect for going snowboarding at Northstar. The host was incredibly responsive and checked in to make sure everything was alright. I'd book here again! Highly recommend.

Excellent location! Nice cabin for family stay!

We spent 5 nights with our kids and our friends at the property. It is a great location! We were enjoying short shuttle rides from and back to the village to snowboard with kids and skate after 4 pm. We spent a nice moment at Christmas! The owner was very attentive to our needs.

Great Property. Excellent Owners

The house was close to Northstar. Owners were easy to work with! Only some minor issues with the home (showers didn't function properly and one of the bunks were rickety) Other than that, it was a beautiful home and I would gladly stay there again.

Very comfortable with plenty of rooms

The house was well equipped to handle our group of 10, and could have handled a few more. Pretty much as described - a simple open plan living / kitchen / dining room with a master bedroom suite on the main level; and four bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. Each bedroom featured a different forest animal in its art and decor! There's comfortable furniture throughout, supporting a relaxing stay.

Amazing experience from beginning to end

I wish I could give this 10 stars! We booked Davids house for my wife's birthday trip with some friends and family. From the very beginning David was incredibly nice and answered each of my questions right away. He also wanted to make sure we had an awesome experience so he made sure to make our stay as amazing as possible and we 100% did! He is the perfect host! The house was amazing and in a beautiful neighborhood. The rooms were perfect with plenty of beds and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house is fully stocked for everything that you need and the overall atmosphere gives-off the perfect vibes for a weekend in the snow! You can take the shuttle to Northstar and they will drop you off right at the resort and then bring you back to your doorstep. The yard was perfect for sledding and David has plenty of sleds in the closet for you to use. All of us agreed we are going to make this a yearly trip and plan to book this house every time.

Dated but spacious and great location

This house had enough space beyond what 3 families (6 adults, 4 kids) needed. We could have brought 2 more families and felt comfortable! It is also a fantastic location on the shuttle route to the Northstar village. The kids that didn't ski were able to sled and play around the property, which slopes down to a creek in the back (little ones should be supervised). There was enough to do that we didn't have a chance to use the community center, so I can't speak to that perk. These were the main selling points and they were as-advertised. The house is a bit dated on the inside, but all appliances and fixtures were functional, and everything was very clean. The kitchen had all the tools and utensils (and spices, too!) to feed a small army. There were also plentiful linens and towels. There was an issue with the electronic lock upon arrival. It was dead, but I wasn't sure if I just wasn't using it right. The host was responsive in providing an alternate means of entering the property, but it was a challenging delay after a long drive with kids in the car. The host collaborated with us to have the lock repaired during our visit and it all worked out. For the location, amount of space, and communicativeness of the host, we would definitely stay again.

Great atmosphere

Cozy and great vibes all around. Place is close by stores and all things to do in Tahoe. My family and I really enjoyed it! And made it easy to eat in when kitchens has everything you need! Will definitely stay there again I hope for winter next time.

mountain house

The house was great for our large family. Plenty of beds and a well stocked kitchen. Only problem in kitchen were the knives. We cook a lot and they were really useless. The family that lives in the area brought knives for us. I suggest a sharpener be in the house. The neighborhood is very quiet and there are some wonderful hiking trails with in walking distance. Short drive to the grocery store and the beach. A good time was had by all.
