This charming historic home rates at the top of BnBs I have ever stayed at. Colista was amazing to work with every step of the way with clear, open and timely responsive communication. She and Grant have renovated this home and left no detail unattended to. Access is easy and from the moment you first step in, you can left out a soft sigh feeling like you are home. The home is clean and there are some extra little surprises that just made the stay that much better.If/when in Troy again I will absolutely stay here again (baring needing a bigger place).THANK YOU!

Great stay

We had a fantastic stay here in Troy. The home is not only beautiful, but located close by so many restaurants and shops. The host was so kind and had amazing communication. The trains are loud at night, but the hosts have noise machines and ear plugs to help with that so it really wasn't a problem. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and Comfortable

The Troy House is as pictured. The ambiance Colista & Grant created makes it very cozy. There is just enough decor without over doing it. The Troy house provides many amenities so you can travel light. Communication was immediate. Colista and Grant obviously take pride in the home they offer. Thank you for sharing, I sincerely enjoyed my stay. The town square is walkable from the home. There are many nice shops and restaurants.

Best place ever!

This is the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. And the owner is AMAZING. It is so beautiful and well done. I’ve never been in a cleaner house in my entire life. She has thought of absolutely everything you would ever need and the special touches like the hand soap that smells amazing, all the extra towels and the diffuser that makes the whole place smell like a spa were just the icing on the cake. I definitely hope to come back!

My husband and I travel frequently and we’ve never had the pleasure of staying in such a well appointed property as Troy House. It is hospitality at its finest, with no exaggeration. Everything was as described and no detail was overlooked - from a kitchen so well equipped it put my own to shame, to the fluffiest terry robes you could imagine hanging in wait for us. Supplies and linens were generously stocked. We were in want of nothing. We truly felt more like pampered houseguests than staying in a vacation rental! Troy’s historic/downtown square district is a short 4 block walk with perfectly restored architecture and thriving shops and restaurants for morning coffee, lunch, and dinner. It’s a perfect weekend getaway destination. We have family in the area and our next trip will definitely include a stay at Troy house!

Perfect Place In Troy!

We came to the Troy House because it was a central location between 2 places we wanted to check out. The Airstream Factory Tour and the WP Air Force Museum. We ended up loving this little walkable town so much that we skipped the AF museum and spent our day going garage saleing and shopping around this little gem of a town! Let me say it did not disappoint! Between the food, the free live entertainment in the square, the walkability, the farmers market, the historic homes, free self guided tour at the Hayner Cultural Center and these amazing hosts, we have been highly recommending everyone to come to Coletta and Grant's home away from home! They have provided everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) and anything you can ever want or need while traveling! From the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Q-tips, hair dryer, lotion and makeup remover wipes in the bathroom to a selection of reading glasses and games in the LR, to ear plugs and a mister in the bedroom to a FULLY stocked kitchen with tons of amenities and lots of charging places and I think Bluetooth stuff throughout the house, to the sweet little Gift Basket they leave out for you, you will want for NOTHING! Please help support Small Business and these fantastic SB Owners!

Well appointed stay

This was a beautiful home within walking distance of downtown Troy. We loved waking up and walking to a local coffee shop. We bikes along the canal, watched a baseball game happening beside the bike path. There are a great variety of restaurants also within walking distance. We also just enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the nice weather and playing games in the evening. The house is beautifully decorated and the hosts have thought of everything one could need while away from home. We loved all the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The host was responsive and flexible with check in and check out times. We loved our stay and hope to be back this summer!

The hosts have an outstanding accommodation in the Troy House!! It is very well decorated and furnished including amazing amenities especially in the kitchen, but in the whole house as well!!
