"The Trail Inn has been a pleasant stay! The staff are friendly & very helpful. My room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, equipped with a smart TV and common conveniences of most nicer hotel's. The shower and water pressure is really nice also! Definitely recommend staying here anytime in the area of U.P. Michigan "

"Nice secluded beach with lots of nature; the stair down to the beach is steep. Fun swimming beaches and attractions nearby. A bit of highway noise since the house is right off the main road with lots of semis, but also easy access. The metal bunk beds were too squeaky and hard for sleeping. The house had most of the basic kitchen tools we needed (there is now a can opener) and it was clean."

"The property was clean, quiet, and bug free on the inside. It was definitely Michigan weather. Air conditioning in the morning and heat at night. Lol. The lake was pretty and the loons were singing at night and in the morning. At night you havr a great view of the northern sky. No dark sky park needed. Firewood and charcoal seemed to be provided, which was a really nice amenity. It was a short trip so sadly we didn't use any of it. Next time we'll come for a week. Rent cabin 7 if you want a dock...
