Lovely house and property. This may have been the most stocked house we have rented. If you forgot something it was probably there if you looked around. We enjoyed the fishing off the dock and the quick trips to the many small towns surrounding the property. Host was gracious and the place was dog friendly.

The lake house on the northern end of Lake Livingston is the perfect spot to relax, reflect, and reset from the everyday grind. The ambiance and the setting are great and Jen has done a fantastic job of making sure everything you would need is available and accessible to the guests. Fantastic Summer Getaway!

If you’re looking for a cozy, beautiful place to relax and enjoy the lake, this is the place!! It had everything we needed, including 4th of July decor, plates, napkins and cups! We only brought our own food and drinks! The beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of extra blankets for cuddling up on the coach after a long day of fishing. We did bring our own rods, but thankfully they had extra ones already there since one of our broke! The kids caught lots of catfish and a few turtles! They also enjoyed canoeing over to Goat Island and jumping off the pier to take a swim! The host, Jenn, was amazing and made sure we were well informed about staying there and the local town. We highly recommended staying here if you’re wanting to experience lake life living!!

Everything about this home was perfect! Jen was a great host, she made everything so easy, she didn’t have a long check list to follow like others. The home was completely stocked, my advice to anyone staying there is to go to the home first to see what you might need. We went to the store first and bought so much stuff she already. She thought of everything! The hot tub was magical, the fishing was great, kayaking to goat island was so much fun, bird watching was mesmerizing (we even saw a bald eagle fly over) she also had a couple of bird books to help identify birds. Oh!! I cannot forget about the heat lamp in the bathroom.. I really want one in my own home now. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. We will most definitely, no doubt, rent this piece of paradise again.. and I cannot wait till the day. Thanks Jen

Girl’s Weekend

We were there to relax, recharge, reset and still have fun. We could not have been in a better place. Everything was clean, organized, easy to operate, the beds were so comfortable, the hot tub is large and water temperature was perfect, the lounging area at the boat house was probably our favorite place and we spent a great deal of our time out there watching the water, counting turtles, watching the fish, looking for birds, and enjoying the squirrel clenching to the tree and stretching out completely to rob the feed out of the bird feeder. We could not have found a better place for our girls weekend!!

A perfect place to stay with all of the amenieties that you will need

We have been staying in VRBO's since 2003 and this is one of the top 3!!. Jen, the host, is excellent. We were there for 10 days, so it was our "home" and not just a place where we slept. It was just like home from home. The kitchen facilities were excellent, everything was there that you needed. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful with wonderful lake views from the living area. We had a couple of minor issues and they were solved very quickly and efficiently.

Awesome trip!

My husband and I booked this home for a valentines getaway. We planned to be gone for a few days, so we wanted a place that had lots to do. This Vrbo checked all our boxes and then some!! The hot tub was amazing. The kayaks were super fun! And the fire table on the doc was so cozy!we had a fantastic time and we would definitely come here again! This Vrbo was so warm and inviting!

Just like home

Lovely little house on the water. Just perfect for our family. My husband and myself and 2 teen granddaughters stayed for the weekend for their Bdays. It turned out to be horrible weather and ruined our plans but it happens. We still managed to have a great time. The girls found games and puzzles to keep them busy. And really loved being able watch all the birds. House had everything you needed. Just like being at home. We are definitely going back

Great weekend on the water.

Very clean quiet place on the water. Well outfitted with cooking materials and lots of extras. The view is fantastic hot tub is wonderful. Owners provided lots of great touches with games, Bluetooth speakers and lots of other extras. We will stay again.

AMAZING!! We have stayed at many properties and this one has been the best, hands down! The house, the location, ALL of the amenities were absolutely spot on fabulous! Because of the little notes all thru the house, the information binder, all of the little extra touches that just screamed, “welcome!” we felt at home and at ease immediately. We quickly noticed there were no signs all over the place asking guests not to touch items, not for guest use, and not to move the furniture. Kudos! (We don’t ever move much, but sometimes a slight move of furniture for comfort and function helps.) Instead, we found an information binder and well placed notes instructing us in how much we WERE allowed to do, how to do it, and appropriate safety precautions. Check out is at 11 rather than 10, and there was no 20 step check off list like almost every other property. Two BIG bonuses that allow guests to relax and feel comfortable all the way to the minute they drive off. These owners go the extra mile to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome. Thanks y’all!!! We will be back!!

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful, clean lake house with wonderful amenities, views!!! The owner knew we had dogs coming with us and had a cute bag of treats upon arrival. This host goes above and beyond any property we’ve ever stayed at. They provided basically a full house service. Amazing. The house and dock were so peaceful. Highly recommend!

They have everything!!

My grandchildren never had a reason to be bored. They were able to Kayak, swim, fish and use the hot tub. All we brought was food, our clothes and fish bait. The home came with fishing poles, life jackets (clean), towels and kayaks. Wonderful weekend and great location. Thank you Jen:)

Great Lakehouse!!

The lakehouse was perfect, clean, organized and cozy. The view was fantastic. Watched sunrise and sunset from the boat house as all the water fowl flew to nesting and feeding grounds. The hot tub in the evening was the perfect finish to a relaxing day. The owner was freindly and helpful.

Birthday getaway

We were looking for a close to home getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday. We wanted a simple all inclusive place that wouldn't require a lot of effort on our part. The title of this rental said it all: "Romantic Hideaway Lakefront Retreat Fireside Lounge, Spa, Swimming and Kayaks!!!" It was all of that and more, spotless clean, well stocked, private and exactly what we were looking for. All of the amenities had detailed instructions on how to use. The proximity to "Goat Island" was a bonus. I kayaked over and explored the less densely side of the island. Although I didn't see the goats, I heard them in the thickets. It was an awesome stay and certainly on our list of potential repeat visits!
