This was such a great place to stay! We would absolutely recommend coming here. We only had to contact the hosts once and they were very responsive and helpful.

Loved this place. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable furniture. The view is incredible. Hard to beat the 5 min walk to the beach. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect spot for exploring Redwood NP

We wanted something with an ocean view close to Redwood National Park and this spot was perfect. We spent a lot of time on the deck listening to the waves and relaxing after a day of exploring!

We knew this place had a great view and a great location but they threw in a great bed on an adorable living room arrangement and a very functional kitchen. Cozy barely begins to describe it

We stayed 3 nights at this quaint and well appointed mid-century home. The home has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Located above Moonstone Beach with great views from the balconies, it is an easy drive to many parks, beaches and towns including Trinidad, McKinleyville, Arcata and Eureka (a bit farther away).

Getaway With Our Pup

We had a wonderful weekend stay to escape the heat, and our Golden absolutely loved it! We appreciated that the house is pet friendly and so close to the beach. Great location, amazing views, couldn’t ask for a better trip.

beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay at the Sandpiper. The views are spectacular, the house was clean and comfortable and relaxing. We were able to have our small dog with us and it was very convenient and easy for us to manage her there.

Trinidad with a view

Comfortable two night stay. Never saw a street sign, but google was helpful and knowing in advance what it looked like. Good food nearby, although waits are pretty long because there are only a handful.

Birthday trip

This home exceeded all my expectations. It was well furnished, comfortable, and the location was incredible. We could hear and see the ocean from the back deck and it was a two minute walk to the dog friendly beach, moonstone beach. The property owners even left a notebook filled with cool places to see and visit on our trip.

Gorgeous views from every room. There are no street signs, so it can be easy to miss the turn to the road the house is on.

More could be done to help describe the final turn to locate property. Easy parking, great location, close to freeway and town, easy access to redwoods and loads of great hikes. We had an exceptionally great stay!

The decks were gated so she had a great time exploring from top to bottom. The house itself is clean and well equipped, with a comfy couch and a large TV for evening relaxing. The bed is VERY comfortable. A short 5 minute walk to Moonstone Beach and a 10 minute drive up to Trinidad for delicious food at the Trinidad Bay Eatery. All in all a perfect getaway. We'll be back!
