We had such a nice time staying at this cabin. There are a couple well maintained hiking trails around the property. The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more!

Million Dollar View
If you want a quiet place to get away from it all, this cabin is amazing. Well off the beaten path, but everything you need to relax and get away from the city. Our dogs were made to feel right at home and loved walking around the cabin and sleeping the afternoon away on the deck. We had turkeys walking up to the cabin one morning and had a very relaxing stay. We will be back. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us.

Beautiful setting
We enjoyed wandering around the property and quiet reading with a view of the Spanish Peaks. The woodstove and games were a bonus and the owners were friendly.

Another Amazing Stay!
We’ve stayed at CJ’s Ranch several times now, and it’s our favorite by far! If you’re looking for quiet, peace, mountains, and a central location to access a lot of the great National Parks spots, this is it! Craig & Judy are wonderful hosts! The cabin has all your basic kitchen needs, the grill on the deck makes for great steaks, and the fire ring outside is great for warming up while star gazing and roasting marshmallows. We’re already planning our next trip back.

July Stay

Perfection
This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and July provided beautiful weather to be outdoors hiking or just simply sitting on the porch admiring the Spanish Peaks. Craig and Judy are the best hosts and take great care of us. We enjoy the seclusion of the cabin where the only thing you can hear is nature.

Fantastic Stay at the CJ Cabin II!
We loved everything about the cabin and grounds at this property! Though you should not expect cell phone service there, that didn’t matter at all! The front porch view of the cabin says it all - a direct view of the Spanish Peaks and nearby hoodoos on their property. We grilled out, hiked, cooked s’mores at the fire ring and had a blast! The Owners are the friendliest folks and live just across the road and were available to help if we needed anything. They had helpful labels and instructions for anything in the cabin or next-door bathhouse. We would readily recommend a family stay here anytime and we hope to come back soon!

Peaceful cabin
My daughter's and I stayed here for the weekend. This cabin has lots of beds to fit us all. We saw wildlife in this remote cabin and we loved it.

Perfect!
We love Colorado and have traveled to many different cabins. This one is my favorite so far. The land is great for exploring, hiking and just simply taking it all in. The fact that there’s no tV is a huge plus for me, total peace. We’ve already booked this cabin again🥰

Great experience!
The cabin was amazing and has everything you could ask for. The hosts provide plenty of extras to go along with your stay, and the surrounding area is beautiful. highly recommend staying here for any type of event.

Amazing Cabin Hide Away
Amazing cabin, plenty of firewood/fuel for heat, very private hideaway from the world. Judy and Craig were incredible hosts, welcoming us on our schedule, providing some advice about the area, and let us enjoy our anniversary in perfect tranquility.

Cozy warm cabin in a beautiful setting
We loved the property, the views, and the cabin. Craig and Judy were great, met us at the gate and gave us a nice tour. They’re nearby in case we needed help. The bathhouse was warm and cozy. It’s set on a really great plot of land

Exceptional place for a getaway!
This is not the first time we have stayed at Judy and Craig’s property, and certainly won’t be the last! The place is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, and the cabin has all you can need for a perfect stay. Lot of things to do to enjoy family time, and reconnect. As always it was perfect.
We use the cabin as a hunting camp and it’s perfect. Quite, clean and easy to get to from our hunting ground and the host Judy and Craig are the best. Judy’s coffee cake is the best I ever had as well. Thanks for letting us stay there.

Amazing getaway!
I found this property on a whim! I work in a very stressful position at a law firm and during the pandemic I've found some calmness in taking a road trip to the mountains. We usually camp at a nearby state park - but since it was so late in the year, we didn't want to chance the weather. So glad that we didn't. I searched VRBO and found this amazing little cabin. The owners were as sweet as can be and provided much more than we planned for! The cabin was perfect for our little family and dog (and could really have fit a few more people). The views are spectacular, no camera will ever do them justice. The deck is perfect! The cabin was stocked with all of the necessary items and even some fun board games that we took advantage of. We will definitely try to get back out there after winter is over. Thank you Judy and Craig for sharing your piece of serenity with us!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

This cabin/property was everything our family needed to disconnect and recharge. Judy and Craig are so welcoming and made sure we had the best stay we could. We all loved hiking their property (especially our dogs), enjoying the amazing views during the day and stargazing at night. Beautiful and secluded getaway
Craig and Judy made us feel welcome immediately! It’s quite a twisty turn to get there but my Apple Maps found it perfectly. They were waiting for us to get there. The views of the Spanish Peaks are so beautiful. Sunsets are the best. Everything we could ever need was already in the cabin. The ac really helped during hotter time but in the mornings just leaving the screen door open and feeling the breeze was wonderful. We used the patio extensively for resting and eating. Our pup truly enjoyed the area as he got to smell all the wildlife. We did a few hikes around the area and even enjoyed a short rain. It was the much needed solitude we were looking for. Our phones being ATT didn’t have signal so we loved being unplugged!! We truly recommend this lovely respite.

Wish we could've stayed longer
Fun, cute cabin met our desire to stay far from hustle bustle. Great views, awesome rock formations. Bed really comfortable! Note, the private bathhouse a separate bldg, just a few steps away but that added to cabin experience. I do suggest an overall surface cleaning as their was "old dust" or crumbs on small appliances, nightstand table and microwave counter top was sticky. Bed Linens and towels very clean. Perhaps add 1 more porch lounger as this was most comfortable chair. Very pet friendly, do your coutesy part to keep it that way for future guests. We would definitely return and stay longer, as we discovered many Summer things to do within easy distance.

True Getaway

This was perfect!
Can’t say enough good things about our stay. We were greeted by friendly hosts who showed us all around. Our dogs and kids were in heaven playing in the woods and on the large rocks all around. Scenery was absolutely beautiful with a great view of the Spanish peaks right in the backyard. It was so good to unplug and relax. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing view!
If your looking to relax, unplug and unwind, this is the place. It has an amazing view of the Spanish Peaks!! I enjoyed hiking this large property. The owners were really great and have thought of everything you might need or have forgotten!! We also really liked sitting around the propane fire!! Would highly recommend!!

Great remote rustic log cabin with beautiful views!
My husband and I and our dogs really enjoyed our time at this cabin! Judy and Craig met us when we got there and showed us around. It’s a one room cabin so space is limited since it has a queen Murphy bed and two sets of bunk beds but.it was comfortable enough for us. It was very clean and had pretty much anything you would need. We loved the wood stove for the cool mornings and the outdoor gas firepit in the evening. It sits on 75 acres so there’s lots of space to hike and explore. It’s located on a ranch so Cattle roam the 75 acres. We saw elk on one of our hikes. The views from the cabin are beautiful, especially the Spanish Peaks! We would definitely recommend!

A little piece of heaven!
This was the cutest, homiest cabin ever. The hosts were so sweet and hospitable! Judy even left me a birthday present in the table when we got there! We are going to try to make this a once a year trip, it was absolutely gorgeous!

Amazing property!!! Breathe taking view.
This view was beautiful! The place was perfect for our family. Definitely an actual vacation away from everyday life. We never had to leave the cabin. They property was so big it took us two days of hiking to view it all. We were fortunate enough to get to experience the Colorado snow. It was beautiful. The check in and out process was very smooth and the Judy and Craig came by once the snowed stopped to make sure we had everything we needed. They ever brought us a case of waters just in case. They even plowed the roads for us the day we left. I can’t stress enough about how amazing this property was and the hospitality Judy and Craig showed us we definitely will be returning.

Best getaway
We truly had the most amazing time. We made a very last minute decision to get away for the end of spring break for our boys. We were even able to bring the dogs. Craig and Judy were so friendly and accommodating and their cabin truly is a little slice of heaven. We cannot wait to visit again

Amazing cabin!
We had a wonderful time camping with our 7 year old twins! It was their first trip to the mountains and I am not sure we can top the experience we had at Judy and Craig' ranch! The views were amazing and OMG the stars! The owners were helpful and had everything ready for us when we arrived. Communication with Judy and Craig was excellent! Highly recommend and would visit again!

First timer hooked

Piece of heaven
An amazing stay. This property has breath taking views and the property owners are nearby. The owners live about a half mile away on the property and will let you enjoy all of the property. They will not bother you and let you be yourself or if you do need something they are very responsive and will be there quick. My wife and I stayed a week and will plan to go back. This place is perfect for the outdoor lovers who want to be off the grid away from screens. Honestly can't say enough good about it, for my wife and I no downside what so ever.

Amazing location & hospitality!
This is our second stay here, and we’ll be back for a third. We like to get to cooler weather and fewer distractions and this gorgeous cabin with its great views is perfect for that. Hosts Judy and Craig are wonderful people who go the extra mile to make you feel at home.

Amazing Views
Super cute cabin in the mountains with great views, love the rock formations. What a great relaxing week we had, so peaceful just what we needed. The stars at night are amazing and my first time seeing the milky way! Judy and Craig were great hosts, we will definitely stay here again when we come to visit my son in Colorado, 100% better than a hotel. Thanks again Judy and Craig!
