Stunning view from the house. Wonderful to wake up in the morning and look out bedroom window to see the ocean and bay. House decor and furniture is modest and the shower upstairs is very small. Kitchen is marginally stocked. It’s the location you pay for. Road to house a bit treacherous for low profile cars and big SUV. We enjoyed our stay and the management nice and helpful.

We loved the stay at Raven House. Trinidad was a fabulous location for exploring redwood natl park, eureka, arkata, etc. the place was cozy and comfortable. We loved having the washer and dryer for laundry as it was pretty rainy and muddy on the trails. They worked moderately well and it was a little quirky they were outside on a covered area. Bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was small but terrific and we had beautiful clear star views the last night. The wooden stair however needs to get non skid tape as I fell getting out in the dark the first night because it was so slippery. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend to any friends visiting the area.

Amazing views, great location, and clean. Perfection. I don't recommend arriving after dark (like we did) - it's not easy to find which is a good thing if you want privacy and a secluded location. Loved it.

Property was just what we needed. Gorgeous kitchen and one of the best views overlooking the bay and ocean. Wonderful sunsets every night watching the seals on the rocks.

My husband and I were dropping our child off at college at Humboldt. We had the opportunity to stay at this charming property. The views were incredible. It has a nice two person hot tub. The pictures were accurate and everything was as advertised. I really enjoyed the peaceful views and locations. Loved my stay!

Driveway in is a bit interesting. Nice oceanside cottage. There is no access directly to the ocean though. Several beaches very close by and central location for a lot of area attractions. Was a perfect home base for our family to explore the area. Bonus was watching the sea lions on the rocks out front- I recommend brining binoculars but once you spot them they are a lot of fun. There were several there for our entire visit. Loved the vaulted ceiling in the bedroom and balcony. Small hot tub was perfect for us- wouldn’t work well if you’re tall. Kitchen has a lot of beautiful detail with the tile work and redwood countertop. Overall, nice clean and comfortable place to stay.

We got married in the red woods just north of Trinidad and this house was amazing! Great hot tub to see the sunset, cute small house off the beaten path. We already went to go back!

This was a return trip for us. We'd stayed at the raven house over 10 years ago before we had children. We brought them back for spring break to see the redwoods. It was so fun to come back. The house was even better with the addition of the hottub!

Secluded and serene stay, off the beaten path and out of site from the road and neighboring properties. Right on the oceans doorstep, however no access to the water unfortunately. Beautiful view and everything you need for a comfortable get-away. Commanding sounds of the waves and peaceful bell of the harbor buoy in the distance. Ornate finish grade redwood interior and simple amenities to furnish the home. Wonderful place to visit for a taste of the Trinidad vibe.

This was such an awesome trip. Trinidad is in a central location to many beautiful hikes. The raven house had the most beautiful view. That is what really makes this place so memorable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortable. The upstairs bathroom could use a little love, but it was just fine for our needs. Be careful about locking the bottom lock on the door because it locks behind you. I unfortunately got locked out in my pajamas with no shoes or cell phone when my husband was at the gym. The host was very quick to respond and rescue me when my husband finally got back. Trinidad was very close and we enjoyed the pizza place and local cafe. Thank you for the awesome stay!

Property has a beautiful view of the water, very nice kitchen. Not many extras for the price. We would have appreciated extra, nicer bath towels, extra toilet paper and a couple of additional blankets for sitting out in the mornings. We also were not aware until after we booked that construction was going on next door from 9-5 each day. And while the view was great, there was no shade to escape it inside and the afternoon sun was very bright.

This is one of the best spots we’ve stayed in through VRBO. Awesome location close to Trinidad with amazing views of the harbor. Really nice house, great 2 person hot tub, quiet road, nice windows and views, solid deck and seating areas. A couple things that could use an update to really hit the mark include: broken handle on main floor bathroom door, very dirty bathroom fans, and a really tight shower. That said, we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Very nice place. Appreciate the opportunity to enjoy the space.
