We came to have a relaxing honeymoon after wedding stress, and we were able to do just that. The home is on a quiet cul-de-sac with direct access to a quiet beach. It’s a bit of a steep hike down, but we enjoyed that. It was so nice falling asleep and waking to the sound of the ocean below. The area is also very walkable - we were able to walk to dinner every night, which we loved. We did embarrassingly get locked in the garage as apparently some of the doors can automatically lock when closed, but thankfully the host answered our call right away and was able to come let us back in!There were lots of board games and puzzles, which we enjoyed after our excursions to nearby beach trails and redwood hikes.I will note that the fairy lights in the boat above the bed were not working and the mattress seemed a bit uneven, like it was slightly raised in the middle. There was also some unexpected yard work happening on the property and when I reached out to inquire about it, the hosts were apologetic and graciously refunded us a night. All in all it was a great home in a perfect location with very kind and helpful hosts. It offered us exactly what we needed and I would definitely recommend a stay here to others. 10/10 Would stay again.

Ocean views near the Redwood NP

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely home overlooking the ocean. Great location to visit Prairie Creek section of Redwood NP during the day. Short path down to a beach with Seals and Sea Lions beachside. Very quiet, private location. Home had everything you will need for an enjoyable stay!

Absolutely Beautiful Property

This is one of my favorite properties I’ve ever rented. The view was incredible, the decor was perfect for the setting, it was fully stocked, and very comfortable. It was even better than the pictures. It’s clear the owners and managers take pride in the property and care for it well. Highly recommend

Wonderful time in Trinidad

Two couples from Oregon came down for a wedding in Trinidad and stayed at Pelican's Nest. We had a wonderful stay with beach walks, dining and seeing friends from our college days. We were able to walk to the wedding location. We had wonderful weather and a lovely ocean view. We hope to return to stay at this property again.

Great house!

This is the second time I’ve had my family at this rental. The house is perfectly located in between the local grocery store, restaurants, shops, state beach ect making walking to everything very easy. The inside of this house is great and the two decks have amazing ocean views.

Wonderful retreat.

Our stay was great. The location is probably the best. The view is out of this world. And if the trail is open you can walk down to a private beach from the house . The inside of the house is lovely. Very beachy charm to it. The house definitely needs some TLC. especially the outside. The back deck is a little sketchy and if you have kids or pets I would be on guard because the railing is not very safe. If you can look past some of these items, which hopefully the owners will address, it’s a lovely place to stay in a tranquil location. Our family had a very nice stay.

Gorgeous spot along the coast

We were here just for two nights, but I loved every minute. Having a coffee on quiet morning while looking at the water was so lovely. We also brought our dog to a nearby beach and had fun playing frisbee. Overall it was a wonderful stay

Fantastic place

What a view!! That is the first thing. Spotlessly clean, well stocked kitchen, nice furnishings, location cannot be beat as close to restaurants, groceries, and a great short trail to Indian Head beach right at the house. TV withNetflix and all other options. All in all one ofthe finest VRBO’s I have ever stayed in. We will be back! 10 stars.

Beautiful view but unmaintained path to beach

what a beautiful view! we loved everything about our stay and our dog did too. the one negative is the property's path to the trail to the beach. it was not maintained-- bushes aren't cut back, etc. and I fell and sprained my finger! It was so swollen but thankfully not broken. we recommend not using the property's path down but to walk around the trailhead until the path is better maintained. other than that, it was a lovely property and our dog loved it and the town of trinidad is wonderul!

Perfect location with stunning ocean views

We loved staying at this beautiful property with a spectacular ocean view. In the master bedroom you can wake up and watch the sunrise. The sunsets are gorgeous from both the bedroom and the entire downstairs living area. Both floors also have ocean facing decks to relax on. The location is on a bluff in a quiet, private residential neighborhood with easy access to trails, restaurants, and stores.

Great place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!

We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! The views from the house were breathtaking, the location was great and the town of Trinidad was so quaint and peaceful. We enjoyed eating at The Eatery for several meals and pizza from Headies was delicious! The house was perfect, comfy beds and furniture. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
