The property was more impressive in person than the photos could depict. It's in a beautiful location on a peaceful finger of the lake, protected from the wind and chop on the larger part of the lake. Our group was three couples of old friends who stayed in the home during a holiday weekend. It was so nice sitting on the covered back patio enjoying the lake view and the sound of families playing and laughing together. If I didn't want a lake house before, I certainly do now! The living room was spacious and provided a great place for old friends to catch up. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kayaks, but the dock was a great place to spend a morning or evening fishing and taking in the peaceful environment. (Not that I caught anything...) The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals together, and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The home was very clean and well kept. It rained almost 3" during the first day of our visit, and there was a little leak down the inside of one window in the master. When I notified the owner, she was quick to respond and thanked me for telling her. The leak posed no issue to our stay, I was more worried about damage to the home. I mention it because I was so impressed with the owner's very positive response and concern for our stay. If I can find another time when we're all available I'll certainly return for another reunion. I highly recommend for couples and families!

End of summer family lake trip

Perfect location for our family get together. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids. The bunkroom gave the kids a place away from the adults for games and hanging out. The location on the cove was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding without a lot of boat traffic.

Great for Family

The back yard and dock are great for young kids through grandparents. All our day time is spent on the water. Only used the house for sleeping and showering, it was comfortable at the end of a fun day.

Awesome Church Youth Retreat!

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and had a really good experience. Our youth was able to do water activities, such as fishing, swimming, kayaking, and boating…plenty of room for everyone. Had a great time!

Wonder place. Plenty of beds. A bunk room that doubled as a play room. Beautiful view. Access to swim in the lake. Great covered porch to sit on and relax. Everything you need.

Another great family vacay

Clean and well equipped house

Fishing was amazing!

Best Stay ever!

This is our fourth year in a row booking at cedar creek lake and And this location is by far the best location er have stayed at!! The host was very attentive and answered all the calls right away. Perfect Place for our Family Vacay

Our family has stayed at several VRBOs on Cedar creek.We have finally found our favorite...perfect location on a quiet cove. our grandchildren range in age from 17 to 24 and the bunkroom was perfect for them. We found everything we needed in the kitchen...all of it labeled. Plenty of storage for food and extras we brought in the laundryroom. Two refrigerators were very helpful. We enjoyed the deck during the day and at night. We caught lots of fish right off the dock. The paddleboards and kayaks were used alot. We enjoyed meeting the great neighbors and their pups. Great times and memories were had by all. We will definitely be back. Thank you April for your hospitality.

Never again

HIGH dollar 4 night stay at a sub par rental. No cleaning supplies, worn out furniture, lights don’t work and half of the bulbs burned out, Wi-Fi is trash, lady who runs it is in for quick cash grab. States a pet fee, she charged me double that. Place stays 16 I guess she doesn’t realize that people travelling from all over can’t carpool. She is trying to charge me for damage to the grass that was already there and claiming we damaged the neighbors septic. Yeah right. Cash grab. I’ve stayed in over 50 rentals over the last 10 years and I’ve never had a problem, not one. Never again.

Lake vacation

Had a great time. House was very nice and quiet. Rented a boat and jet ski for lots of water fun. Owner provided lots of options for water play too. Would definitely rent again!
