Ran by meth heads and crack heads. We pulled up and they told us “they no longer do the internet and they have new rates.” Stay far away!!!!! We went to trail head right next door and they were super friendly.

Stay away
I was approached by a man in the parking lot when I got there. There was no reception desk nor the reservation. I was told that the internet was down for 2 weeks and the room he showed me wasn't even ready, even if it's ready I wouldn't stay there anyway. It was filthy. I had to walk out and find another hotel. I only chose this because of the price.I wish people read this and don't make a mistake like I did.

Worst ever
Was told it was under new owners and had no access to any computers so they had no reservations. Was told it was cash only. From what we saw it appeared to not be a safe and clean hotel.

i am not happy
I had reserved the night the night before and got a confirmation number that's the motel they told us to go talk to the lady in room 6 she tried to tell us that our computer system was down and credit card machine is down and all they had left with two bedrooms which was $71 and that we were going to have to pay the extra money for our room but that one of the other workers came over and said that they had to use the price that we had the confirmation number for they ended up finding a room for us to be in with the one bed like we had reserved then when we checked in the lady that checked us in we counted our money out to her twice she took the money close the door and then 10 minutes later she gave us a receipt then about 45 minutes later we get a knock on our door and the same lady is telling us that we were $17 dollar short she said when she counted it it was not what it was supposed to be but we counted out $38.25 five time we ended up talking to her manager and they said they was going to take the Lost $17.

It was filthy, cold, small and ghetto. I can't believe it's ever passed inspections. Or is even legally open. I do NOT recommend this motel to anyone.

It’s too bad that they said there was coffee and bagels and that they didn’t do a thorough cleaning of the room. Because otherwise it was a good value for the money. The front desk guy was nice but there was no response when I tried to buzz for the coffee and bagels that were promised the night before. Also the maid really needs to do a better job prior to check in.

If I could have canceled after checking in I would have. It was dirty the beds were gross looking wasn’t worth the money I been in cheaper motels that were cleaner, and smelled better.

Don't even stay
First off. Is this a 420 friendly motel. Now, that said, the room was not clean, in fact the comforters on the beds looked like somebody either dumped dirt on them, or they were stained. I ended up sleeping in what looked like a leather chair. The front door would not latch when shut. I had to move the microwave stand directly in front of the door to feel like I had any kind of security. Please, pay the extra 30 or $40, and stay somewhere else. Trinidad, Colorado is worth the trip! Just make sure you make it worth the trip and stay somewhere else.

Check-in was only a few minutes, and my room was ready on time. The people are cool and motel is quiet. A little snow was beautiful, and has smoking areas year round. Wifi was good. No breakfast tried . okay for 1 night, maybe more.

Dont do it!!!!
It was a horrible dirty room. Floor dirty under beds very very dirty. Both beds horrible mattress. Very low to ground . frames were cheap and felt like were going to break. Small electric plug in heater that was loud and turned on and off repetetivly ambulance came with flashimg lights about four am. We left and went to mc donalds for rest of night.

I had to go to the office to request towels and washcloths. There was such a strong order of previous pot smokers in the room but it was a non-smoking room. The sheets were a dark gray so I was leary of how clean they were. The pillows were very stained so we went and bought our own. There was no commode seat lid on the pot but the attachments were sticking up. I guess you get what you pay for which in this case wasn't much.

Worst hotel experience of my life.
Worst hotel I have ever checked into. Guy at the front desk smelled so bad he could not have showered for days. I was checked into a room that smelled and the tv did not work. Changed to a second room and again the tv did not work and the placed smelled so strong of bleach it hurt my eyes. Terrible beds, pillows and place is very old and run down. Sign was posted that all rooms are 420 friendly so it caters to the drug community. Stay away it is not fit for occupamcy.

Tub/shower was disgusting, didn’t even want to step foot in it. Floor was sticky, left my shoes on the whole stay. Toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Sheets were dirty and full of hair. Microwave Was disgusting had loads of food exploded in it. Heater barely worked. Advertised “breakfast” was plain bagels and a keurig, locked in the office and not available. I wasn’t expecting much for $50; but this was a flat out disappointment, and quite honestly, very uncomfortable surroundings. If I hadn’t arrived late from driving all day, I would’ve wanted a refund and looked for something else in the area.

Our room had one bed propped up on a crate, no bed frame. There was also a very small space heater that was not adequate to heat the entire room. That I could have dealt with but our room had NO HOT WATER in the middle of the winter! When I complained to the staff, he suggested we just shower in one of the other rooms. No apology or compensation. We will NOT be staying here again.

The dude at the front was cool he replaced the heater 2 times because the rooms original heater wasn’t working so that was cool. The room was filthy nasty dirty baggies of idk what drug and tobacoo grinds there was no toilet paper. I’ve stayed there before but this time around it was crappy. I wanted to get my money back but dude didn’t want to. He didn’t even ask for my iD to check me in. Smh worst stay ever

ZERO Stars for this dump. DO NOT STAY HERE. It is disgusting. You’ve been warned. The floors are sticky and filthy. I wiped the floor with a towel and it turned the towel BLACK. The toilet had a brown ring around it. The shower is full of mold. There were NO top sheets and only torn dirty bottom sheets. There is NO HEATER in the room other than a small electric one. Sleep in your car before considering this place. I’m serious.
