"We stayed 2 nights in a suite. The room was delightful and we slept very well.
Dinner both nights was outstanding and we wished we could have stayed longer to try out more of the menu !
Breakfast was freshly cooked each morning and also delicious. Would definitely return. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed, pillows a bit tired. Very helpful staff, beautiful old tavern with delicious food, close to Oxford. Free parking too!"

"The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor.
There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

"Excellent full English breakfast, loved the classical music on the radio when entering the room. Great evening food served. Loved the special touches, gin tipple and fresh milk for brews in the fridge. Loved it, would use again of staying in the area."
