"This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! "Exceeded my expectations, beautiful house and room (Harry) clean, bright, and spacious with very pretty furniture. The bed was super comfortable, slept wonderfully. The street is busy, with cars and people using it all night, nothing loud, just enough background noise to put you to sleep. "As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "We loved our stay at the Canal Cottages. Our cottage was a detached studio room with its own private bathroom. The cottages do sit behind the main establishment. You can get an uber or bolt from this location if you would like to go explore the area around you or need to head back to the airport like we did. We took an uber to Windsor Castle from the cottages and it was about 25 minutes away from the cottages. Public transportation available but it is about a 15 minute to 20 minute walk...
