"Nigel was so great, I made an error on my booking dates and he fixed it no problem ! The hotel is clean, modern, newly refurnished. Brekky was lovely, warm friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel. £5 surcharge for a dog which is brilliant. Only thing is the electric shower, it’s not as good as gas but it was still ok! Just to know , dogs can’t go in the restaurant. Lovely hotel and great staff !!"

"We had a lovely peaceful stay Pengelly is ideally situated for the whole of Cornwall and very welcoming Ben is a treasure trove of knowledge and such a lovely intelligent man. Katherine is a very busy mother and wife and both are lovely inviting people the farmhouse is very clean the rooms are very spacious and clean nothing seems to much to ask the breakfast is superb plenty of choice. "We loved staying at the Minerva Guesthouse. The hosts are lovely and thoughtful. as are the staff. It's really what makes this place special. The location is excellent, right near the beach for an early morning or evening walk when the tide is out. Our room for three was tight but with everything we needed: an excellent shower, comfortable, clean bed, and closet space. Go for the location, but stay for the hosts. "

"La recepcionista a la llegada no fue muy simpática, no nos ha explicado casi nada del hotel etc. El recepcionista de la mañana ha sido simpático! El desayuno es muy básico! "It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel.
