Absolutely amazing, beautiful part of the country, near Strata Florida Abbey.

Absolutely amazing, beautiful part of the country, near Strata Florida Abbey. What a lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble, the cottage was completely kitted out Log Burner, Bath and Shower including hair drier, Iron & Ironing board fully kitted out kitchen with everything you can think of. We also had our 20 Month old Grandson with us so they made sure there was a cot and High chair provided at no extra cost. We can,t speak highly enough of the whole experience. We have now booked to go back on the end of March and end of August 2020. Peter & Deborah and family.

Beautiful cottages with a gorgeous view across the hills and valley and about 3 miles from the local village. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need to have a relaxing stay in the country. The Black Lion in the village has excellent food and service for a meal out. Or stay at the cottage and cook local meat from the butcher 1 village away. Wifi and TV worked well. Our hosts were wonderful people and made sure our stay was enjoyable.

Fantastic cottage, Monica and Meirion are such a warm friendly couple and the location is stunning. This was our second visit, the first being 4 years ago, when the cottages had just opened and this visit was just as good. The cleanliness and decor were just as good 4 years on and the welcome was second to none. We will definitely return again.

On arrival we were welcomed warmly by the owner who personally gave us a tour of the property.

On arrival we were welcomed warmly by the owner who personally gave us a tour of the property. A goodie basket had also been left. The views were fantastic and we very much enjoyed our stay. It’s a very quiet and tranquil idyll and perfect for our stay with walks and bike opportunities on the doorstep. I cannot comment on the local amenities as that’s not the reason we chose the cottage. If you want a break in the middle of the school summer holidays without the crowds this is the place to book. It was lovely !

We had a wonderful relaxing week in a cottage as a family of four with two young children.

We had a wonderful relaxing week in a cottage as a family of four with two young children. Our son enjoyed riding his bike on the tarmac area immediately in front of the cottage. There were plenty of activities within 30mins - 1 hour drive, including a trip to the seaside one day. We were lucky to be around when the lamb was being fed one evening and both our both children enjoyed bottle feeding. The hosts couldn’t have been more hospitable or accommodating.

Comfortable clean and extremely well equipped. Beautiful location - 15 mins to nearest town of Tregaron and 30 mins to Aberystwyth. Hosts Monica and Merion were very welcoming and on hand if needed. The cottage is well thought out and Monica provided a wonderful welcome hamper of treats. An excellent base for walking and sightseeing. The easiest recommendation I've ever given. Lovely cottage and lovely hosts. Would also recommend tge Black Lion pub in the village for excellent food.

We came here last year and ran out of time to do everything, so we returned again this year.

We came here last year and ran out of time to do everything, so we returned again this year. Another fantastic holiday. Accommodation, location and hosts are just perfect. We would strongly recommend this place. Great for kids and adults!
