"It is a lovely chalet and everyone was impressed by how cosy, clean and convenient it is. I think the chalet looks better in person than on the photos.We are a family of 2 adults 2 little children and we could walk to the beach directly from the holiday village via a public pathway through farmland and it wasn't too challenging for the children to walk there (they still needed a little help). "The location can not be beaten, right on the beach of Portcothan Bay. This is one of these places you're kids will remember when they grow older "the time we stayed in the house with all the stuff found at the beach". It has great summer, beachie vibes and Jane is a lovelly host. Its a long way from where we usually live otherwise this would become our favourite weekend spot for sure "

"Lovely apartments. Would definitely use again. Our only gripe was that the wood bed was really creaky and woke us up everytime someone moved. Also the drain in the bathroom sink was extremely slow. Apart from that it was lovely. "

"We have just spent May bank holiday at Grooms cottage-wow what a place. We took our two dogs with us. One is just 14 weeks old, we needed the break after breeding puppies earlier this year.The cottage was safe and secure, just like it said.The property is set in a rural location however you are just a 30 minute… give or take a few drive away from main attractions.This was more beautiful, relaxing than we could have imagined.We hope they will allow us back.Thank you so much, just what we needed."

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage being 5 adults and plenty of room but may of been a bit pushed if 6 for sitting room but perfect for us. It's a bit way out on single track road and at first was a bit worried about but found perfectly ok by end of holiday. Kitchen was lovely only downside but it didn't affect us a very small ice compartment but luckily we didn't get much frozen food . There are some steep stairs but a great hand rail so not a problem but worth mentioning if you have mobility...
